Pros: Fab graphics, sound, and gameplay... Cons: Annoying installation, lack of tech support (unless you pay for it on the phone)
Having reviewed both <

b>TRON:
The Book recently, I thought it would be nice to complete the circle by reviewing TRON: The Game… well, TRON 2.0 ...

Pros: true to the original movie (just better), finally a franchise that delivers (big time) Cons: can be very difficult, somewhat confusing light cycles game, (requirements)
The most anxioulsy awaited game this year finally became available. (Judging from the promotional material, it just had to be awesome ... even if you're not a die-hard fan of the 20 year old movie.) Finally on August 26th: Here it is! And it could not ...

Pros: Impressive update to the orginal film's legacy, solid FPS gameplay with stunning graphics. Cons: Quite hard. Interface takes some getting used to.
Considering some of the lousy games that I've dropped fifty bucks on (usually based on misguided reviews), Tron 2.0 makes me feel guilty. I waited until this gem cost twenty dollars before finally picking it up, and it was worth four times that price. ...

Pros: Ruthlessly faithful to the TRON movie. Cons: If you're much under the age of 25 you'll look at this and go "huh?"
If you're much under the age of 25, rent TRON and watch it before you get this game. Without it, you ...

Delicious Eye Candy

Pros: If this game was a lady - she'd be an international goddess of beauty. Cons: Some challenges are not for those with short tempers.
I always wanted to play Tron2.0 and when I saw it was only $20 it sealed the deal. I have been SO hooked on this one. It has an awesome look and f'n cool weapons that are upgradable.
The game is very well written, too. Just when you might start to think it's getting a tad repeatative they drop the bomb on you. Lightcycle arenas, Seeker testing grids, and little puzzles keep it all fresh.
The designs and sound effects are the best things about this game. Not that the gameplay is not good - it's amazing! It's just that the production values put into the game are out of sight.
Highly recommended for those who like shooters with nice little extras.
