    Pros: Light weight, uses only one wall jack.
    Cons: If any loud background noise the phone seems to give the impression of cutting out.

    Pros: Paging, individual ringtones, AA NiMH batteries, Global settings, speakerphone on each phone, good sound
    Cons: caller-id doesn't set time, no answering machine battery back-up, no global phone book

    Pros: cell-phone styling on the handset. expandable.
    Cons: static. noisy...pshhhh, pshhhhhh, chhhaaahhh

    Summary: With all the offerings of cordless phone/answering machines staring back at me from the shelf, the sales clerk offered to point me in the right direction. He was very enthusiastic about this model, saying that he owns it(and 3 extra handsets @$50 apiece)
