Pros: Awesome picture quality. DNR works great. Cons: It may be the last VCR manufactured, that's good enough for archiving your tapes.

Pros: None that I've found. Cons: Pathetic construction (including magnets at tape slot), useless time-base corrector, poor video quality, electronic defects

Pros: Excellent picture. Excellent price.
Easy setup except for the clock.
DNR works great. Cons: Manual not on par with unit. My old Toshiba manual was far better.
Summary: I just received my HR-S9911U from D&H Video. The order was put on UPS on time but there was a delay at the customs; don't know why. The unit has great picture; no more green displays like my defunct 16 year old unit. DNR works great. The unit is smooth
