THE VEO 1300 1.3 MP VERY GOOD CAMERA STILL WORKING AFTER YEARS
by ledfoot ,Apr 29 '06
Pros: POINT SHOOT, TIMER, CAN HOLD UP TO 104 PICTURES, FLASH, VIEW FINDER, TFT LCD Cons: THE ONLY PROBLEM I'VE EVER HAD IS THAT IT DOES EAT BATTERIE.
THE VEO 1300 1.3 MP VERY GOOD CAMRA FOR IT'S AGE AND STILL WORKING FOR YEARS. I'VE USED THIS CAMRA WITH ALL THE FUNCTIONS AND IT HAS BEEN AN ASSET TO ME. It's an excellent starter camera and durable. I can't say that about many other digital cameras. The one I have also takes great pics. You just need to read the owners manual to know how to use the functions for real quality pics. Does eat batteries, but this camera has an ac/dc option for indoors. It's been a great camera, and I'm keeping mine.POINT SHOOT, TIMER, CAN HOLD UP TO 104 PICTURES, FLASH OPTION, VIEW FINDER, TFT LCD, STATUS LCD, DC 6V IN OR BATTERIES, TRIPOD MOUNT, DURABLE WITH QUALITY

Stay away from this camera like the plague!
by critiquer ,Dec 16 '03
Pros: Cheap, Has an LCD screen, Video options, Webcam capabilities. Cons: Constantly buy batteries, Camera forgets it has pictures in it. The problems go on.
I bought this camera about 6-months ago. From the start, I thought I had a great camera in my hands. That was from the start though. In about 1 week I realized how bad the camera really was. The software to upload pictures to the computer had compatability problems with my computer, and didn't work until I spent about an hour playing with it. Also, the camera requires a backup battery to store pics in the internal memory. It's bad because the battery has to be above 89% power, or it will not work. I bought a compact flash card for it, and it read it about 10% of the time. Nevertheless, when the camera is turned off and on again, it forgets that it had the CF card in it. The camera is a joke, in my opinion. Stay away from it no matter how good it seems to you.

Complete piece of junk
by pbmax70 ,Aug 05 '05
Pros: Can put as large a Compact Flash memory card in it as you care to. Cons: Everything else. Junk.
This camera is a piece of garage. I bought it for the heck of it because it was advertised as a 1.3mp digital camera. Feels like a toy you'd get a the dollar store and takes pictures about as well too. Every picture I have taken so far is blurry with or without flash.
I thought I could use it as a web cam if nothing else, but it comes with absolutely nothing but the cheap camera itself, no instructions, cables, zero, zip.
Avoid this piece of junk at all costs.

Not worth it
by marod13 ,Nov 20 '04
Pros: Cheap, easy to use. Cons: Poor pictures.
I got this camera free with a CF memory free when I bought a computer about 2 years ago. Sometimes it takes good pictures but most of the time they are poor, with bad color. Seems to work best with good lighting. Flash pictures are good if you work at it.
However, picture quality is so poor most of the time even my kids do not want to use it. The LCD screen thumbnail preview works well.

This camera has horrible still...
by rogerdahl_dt3000 ,Mar 02 '03
This camera has horrible still picture quality. The CCD must be of very low quality. Lots of graininess and "hot" pixels. The drivers are even worse. It took me an hour to get it to the point where I could download the pictures (which btw was slow even though it's USB) and I was never able to make any of the 2 WinXP and 1 Win2k computers I tried it on use the video functions in the camera.

Brought it and then returned...
by gl_lin_dt3000 ,Dec 01 '02
Brought it and then returned it right away. Tried it indoor during night time and the flash is too bright which ruins the picture. Turning off the flash will make the picture too dark to see anything. I had an Argus DC3200 which has a lot more functionalities and better picture quality.
