Great surprise!
by spacelunatic ,Mar 13 '05
Pros: PRICE!! sounds great, nice bass/treble/fader control. Plays low kbps MP3s without a hitch. Cons: a few buttons could be better placed, but most units will have that problem somewhere.
I bought this at CircuitCity in Dec2004 for $60, but I'm not sure if they carry it anymore. My Kenwood in dash cd/mp3 player was on the fritz and the price was so good, I took a chance. Wow! What a terrific surprise. Works great, looks good, easy to use(a few buttons could be better..) and I actually like it better than the Kenwood I paid about $250 for!
I've been telling my friends to keep an eye out for this unit. Maybe you can find it somewhere on the net.
Holy cow, what a bargain.

Best car MP3 player under $100.
by t-imel ,Apr 19 '05
Pros: 1pr Aux Input; 1pr Line Output; 1 Sub Output; CD Changer Connection. Cons: Changer connection won't work. Amp weak, need 2nd line out & fader.
That's right, under $100. I don't think Circuit City is selling any more but you can find them at outlets & auctions. Got mine & Verge VFMMP3 MP3/CD changer, under $90 slightly used for both. Good replacement if your stock stereo won't play CDR or MP3. I couldn't play or control the changer when connected direct. The changer will only work stand alone with wired remote & play thru FM radio.
