Pros: It's quiet...big deal Cons: It stinks...
Okay, we've had the thing for over five years, but the drawer slides broke, the thing will not pump out all the water which leaves stains on the glasses, and when we tried to have it repaired (now) the estimated bill is $453 and the repairman says he ...

Pros: nothing, nothing, nothing nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing
nothing nothing Cons: everything...do not buy this dishwasher. The cheapest machine sold at sears is better than this....

cleans great, but
by shaunieo ,Feb 18 '04
Pros: cleans great Cons: Heavy sharp door.
Control panel cracks.
Latch lock mechanism isn't very reliable.
This dishwasher works great...cleans better than any we've had. The problem is the control panel....it needs a redesign sinnce viking basically acknowledges a material problem. After about a year, the warranty period, the control panel strip cracks. Viking did replace but with the same one, and at around $200 per part, who can afford that yearly.
Additionally the latch mechanism is fritzy....if you slam the door closed..it will work fine.
Lastly, the stainless steel face is very heavy and has some really sharp corners...everyone in the family has cut their leg.

the worst ever
by b2470 ,Jan 04 '06
Pros: none Cons: read review
This thing is like a tin can. Very finicky and as I write this the repair man is here again. The drawers slide out constantly, the soap drawer is warped and the inside prong configuration is so unevenly spaced that I need to do 2 loads of dishes every night if I cook a full dinner for three people.
I hate this and we are buying another Kenmore like we had before-I could fit a small horse into that one and it never broke.
