Pros: Excellent flash,
Plug in anywhere,
battery usage,
Inexpensive,
perfect for online sharing
Cons: LCD can be hard to see, and
Shutter lag is bad for fast action shots
This tiny 2 megapixel camera is great for point and shoot photography, with 3 megapixel interpolation for extra nice shots, and 4 power digital zoom for getting close up. The 16MB onboard memory is ample, and the camera is SD & MMC compatible. The flash is very bright, and has red eye reduction. It also features a self timer, macro mode, and movie mode. Three resolution settings, and two pixel are also featured. Unlike many cheap digital cameras, shutter lag is minimal, but I wouldn't recommend trying to take a picture of anything super fast moving. The camera acts as a logical drive when plugged into a computer, so drivers are not necessary. This means you can plug into any buddy's PC as well as your own! The TV-Out is nice for showing pictures at parties.
Bottom line: The camera is great for anyone looking for a quality digital camera, without emptying their wallet. Vivitar makes a good product.
