Pros: Price, Size, High Res (3 mp), picture effects Cons: Picture lag, dim LCD, below avg picture quality
INTRO: I bought this camera during the holiday season when it was on sale for 88 dollars. I thought it was a steal since i was getting a 3 megapixel for under a 100 bucks. USING THE CAMERA: When i first put the batteries in, the noticed that ...
I was unlucky enough to receive one of these cameras as a present. Although the pictures is takes are acceptable, the overriding problem with the camera is the short battery life. I bought a Maxell recharger and 4 rechargeable batteries to go along with ...
Pros: Uhhh--One year warranty--you're gonna need it! Cons: Inhaling melted plastic fumes is harmful to your lungs!
From Walmart--$157--good price. Seemed to have plenty of amenities for the price--at least it SEEMED to.... Lens cover is very flimsy and prone to get sprung. LCD difficult to see--but this is a given for most digitals. AC adapter a must because ...
Pros: Low cost, good quality, excellent upgrade or new user camera. Cons:*EATS* regular batteries (buy Ni-Cd rechargeables), no direct TV-out.
Now, I'm not the type that usually gets up for those "Black Friday" (day-after-Thanksgiving) sales, but the chance to snag a 3MP+ digital camera for under $100 was too hard to pass up. I had actually found two cameras that I had wanted: This one and a ...
Pros: small, lightweight, versatile, and functional. Good value Cons: battery life, directional buttons are hard to get right, no ac adapter included.
Our first digital camera was a little polaroid that got about 1/4 megapixel for resolution (320 X 280 around there?) without a flash. Then we stepped up to a Vivicam 3500. It was only 1.2 megapixels. It had a flash and took pretty decent pictures, but had ...
Pros: 3.3 Megapixel @ 2048x1536, Easy to Use, Good price, Compact, Intended for First-Timers Cons: Short battery life, Not completely digital, No sound in video, small delay between shots
It was time for a replacement. My outdated 1.3M camera was starting to get to me. I had a Kodak DC3200 for several years (Personal Review - ht

Pros: You read this review so you can save yourself time and frustration. Cons: Camera devours batteries, download instructions don't work.
No bargain, even at $132. Battery (which came with camera) went dead after first use, (two pictures!!) No biggie, bought Energizers the next day. Took photos of my 4 day old son & his 3 year old brother with their grandmother. Pictures appeared to be ...
Pros: 3.3 mega-pixel camera for under $200; movie clips Cons: Battery life and LCD used
I felt like an idiot. I got to my car, after purchasing the Vivitar ViviCam 3715, and completely overlooked the zoom capability before I bought the camera. My chihuahua, Toni, was laying in the seat beside me, annoyed that I was so wrapped up in ...
Vivitar 3715--2 strikes, you're out!!! by tarpleyg ,May 21 '05
Pros: Price, I guess...No time to find out anything else. Cons: You get what you pay for. Flimsy and poor quality.
Well, since Vivitar doesn't have an e-mail address or toll free customer service number I guess I'll air my experience here about the piece of junk camera they are selling. I bought a 3715 two weeks ago and took about 3 pictures with it before it powered off and would not power back on. I took it back today and exchanged it for a new one. Well, wouldn't you know it--I had the same result except this time I did get any pictures. Vivitar should really pull this crap off the shelves at retailers. I am going to return it and get a Canon which I should have done to begin with. Vivitar can feel free to contact me to make some sort of restitution for the inconvenience this product has caused me.
Pros: Takes great pictures, nice and compact, and easy to use. Cons: Eats up batteries very quickly, and you definitely need a memory card.
This is a great camera! I got it for Christmas and I was able to use it right out of the box. Everything on the camera is basically self-explanatory. The only thing I would recommend for this camera would be a good memory card, because it's only capable of about 25 pictures max without one, and some rechargeable batteries and battery charger. But it takes great pictures and the software it comes with is also very easy to use with so many options.
Pros: Was a great buy for a three megapixel. Good pictures. Cons: Eats batteries, long flash charge cycle, no optical zoom, no sound for short video clips.
This was a Walmart special from April 2003. I almost returned the camera due to the batteries being loose in the compartment and causing the camera to not function. Messing around with it like all boys do, I managed to put a temporary bridge in place fixing the problem. It works with that little piece of metal.
Man does this camera eat the batteries though. I try to keep the LCD screen off and that seems to help. Cold weather? Fahgeddaboudit. This thing even eats batteries when it's left in the drawer. Or maybe the power-on button is too easy to depress...
And the flash... jimminees that thing takes a long time to charge.
I can never get my resolution choice to stay. It will stay put while the power is on, and then revert back to default when I turn off the camera. I find this to be rather annoying since it forces me to go back into the menu and select my options once again.
Still, at the time it was an excellent buy. I guess that the thing still works should count for something.
Spend more money for a better camera !!! by greg1324 ,Sep 27 '04
Pros: Small Cons: Too many to list !!!
This camera eats batteries and has many draw backs. The zoom is useless and the pictures taken with this camera are marginal at best. Buy a camera with an optical zoom and memory battery. This is an ok starter but, I wish I had spent more money and bought a better camera instead.
