Pros: Large size, removable reservoir, safety features, basket, dishwasher safe parts Cons: Short cord (but 1800 watts!), expensive (get out those LNT/BB&B coupons!)
Summary: Im not big on fried foods, but when I do make something, theres nothing like a nice deep fryer. After literally throwing out our old, disgusting Rival deep fryer, we did some research before investing in something new. The ... read more

Pros: Produces good quality deep frying results. Cons: Short power cord. Space Demanding. Recovery time a bit slow. Needs a Gallon of Oil.
Summary: WHAT'S THE 411 ON THIS PRODUCT?Actually, this unit - the Waring DF200 Deep Fryer replaces my smaller Waring Deep Fryer. That one still works, but I wanted a larger unit after all. I gave it to a friend who also likes to deep fry. I ... read more

Pros: Heats good, Huge capacity Cons: Price, Basket Design, Hot outer shell.
Summary: Had many fryers in past but wanted this one to be "the one" for a long time. Did extensive research on different brands and types and came to the conclusion that the DF200 was the smart choice. The resovoir is big, ... read more

Pros: Quick and easy to use & clean, great style/design, break-away safety cord, stay-cool exterior sides Cons: Vents near panel/lid handle, permanent filter, digital display would be great
Summary: This is our first fryer and it's been worth the money! We've only had it a short time but we've been frying like crazy! :) I never knew it would be so quick & easy and that the food would turn out so well! The food has been crispy and not greasy! ... read more

Pros: Professional looking, sleek design, perfect oil temperature. Cons: Buzzer not so hot, Handle is in bad place on lid.
Summary: My Previous on the counter deep fryer experience. I had bought a Philips Deluxe Deep Fryer before this one. Actually I had two because one died in less than a year. I replaced it with an identical one, and it bit the dust in less time than that. I ... read more

Pros: immersible oil heater, bulb-capillary thermostat, removable oil tank Cons: timer shut off buzzer non-functional - offers weak clunking noise, awkward basket control
Summary: I believe that if one wants to eat fried foods, the deep fryer offers a healthier choice because much less oil is absorbed into the food than with conventional frying. But, the workings of the deep fryer are important to assure that the cooking ... read more

Pros: Fantastic heating element.
Intelligent design features. Cons: Larger size than competition.
1800 watt element may be too much for some circuit breakers.
Summary: I bought this fryer after having tried a Euro Pro fryer and returning it. See my review of that unit h

Pros: large capacity - easy to clean Cons: safety feature a little too severe
Summary: Were very excited about this fryer - cleaned it up, filled with oil (even had to run to the store for more oil), THEN tried to turn it on - it's got this feature where the control has to be "seated" just right on it's holder or it won't turn on. Needless

Pros: it is easy to clean up Cons: doesn't reach proper temperatures , slow recovery time
Summary: I had this deep fryer for about a year now. I don't deep fry a lot but each time I use it it seem to just barely get the job done. The other day when trying to make potato chips, which should only take 2-3 minutes but took close to 6-7 minutes a batch

Pros: Good construction, easy to clean Cons: Mechanical temp control which is not accurate. Unit did not reach 375F.
Summary: I have only one complaint but it is an important one. The temperature control is mechanical and not accurate. When I purchased the unit, I added fresh vegetable oil and let it heat up to 350 F degrees. I then inserted a professional candy thermometer

Pros: Possibly good for a few very simple items, like appetizers. Cons: Oil cools down immediately and recovery rate is slow so the food absorbs oil.
Summary: The Waring Pro is promoted as a professional deep fryer capable of handling more than 3 pounds. This is laughable! Three pounds of what? This fryer is a total light weight capable of frying only the most delicate of food items such as a few shrimp,

Pros: Fast warm up and recovery. Vented top is great. User friendly and no mess. Cons: An amateur cook won't appreciate it.
Summary: This is as good as it gets without going to a commercial unit that costs at least twice as much and requires 220 volts and a $4,000 hood. And it has better features. The temperatures are true if you let it warm for at least 20 minutes and add 5 degrees

Pros: Temperature recovery, removable oil well, timer, basket handle folds for storage Cons: Under-body of the unit has edges that are a little sharp.
Summary: I was a little apprehensive to purchase this at first, due to the price $129 (at Williams Sonoma). After reading the reviews, however I decided to buy. I gave it a real workout when I got it home, making 120 Crab Rangoon, and 200 chicken wings in

Pros: Quick frying. Cons: Very poorly designed.
Summary: When I saw the new Waring Pro in the Chef's catalog, I thought I'd finally found the fryer I've always wanted -- big enough to do lots of french fries in one batch. What I got was a home appliance designed by someone who's never used one. First, it
