Pros: Small size, 6' cable and good quality Cons: Don't set it near your speakers...
Well over two years ago my wife and I upgraded to a broadband connection. This along with Instant Messaging applications finally made it realistic for us to buy a webcam and chat with grandparents, friends and family via video connections. At the time ...
Pros: The Camera works fine, and you can get a great deal on it. Cons: iChatters need cameras to talk to you. May need to punch holes in firewall.
There are quite a few negative reviews of this camera that I could not relate to, so I thought I should post my opinion to give balance to the overall ePinion. I got this camera on sale at Office Depot for $20 as a part of the Access Trio LE (which ...
Pros: Good hardware, good FPM rate, decent sound with the built in microphone. Cons: Software doesn't work well at all, camera needs specific light conditions to be optimized.
I recently bought the double pack of this camera. I bought it due to the variety of features it has, such as: built in microphone, compatibility with all instant messenger programs, and frame per minute rate (up to 30fpm), and an easy to use still frame ...
Pros: price
vid quality
headset & holding clip
easy installation
compatible with many chat apps
Cons: poor holding base
low mic volume on headset
cables to short
I was going to buy a higher end cam but the one I wanted was out of stock so I decided to settle for this one. It was only like $30 so I figured I would give it a shot. As a bonus it came bundled with a headset and clip for a laptop or flat screen ...
Logitech Logitech is a company devoted to making Interface devices that makes things easer and more efficient for the user. They make some of the best quality and most reliable products on the market. But does the Logitech quickcam walk the walk. ...
Pros: None that I can think of.
Cons: Outdated software, partner company out of business, and much, much, more.
There is nothing nice I can say about this camera. Is it easy to use? Not in the slightest. Setting the camera up on the computer or the desk is easy. That is about as far as it goes. The software that Logitech gives you installs 6 ...
Pros: Great picture quality, framerate, sharpness, contrast, color and very good low-light tolerance Cons: Included software is terrible, default camera settings awful, harsh glare from close lighting
I bought it at OfficeMax for $40. I ran it on a 1.3GHz HP Pavilion 531W Celeron with 384MB ram, integrated video running Win98SE and a 56K dialup connection. (Pitiful, I know, but that's all that's available). The camera itself is rugged, the focus ...
Pros: Has a button on top that auto-captures. Cons: Average to low quality pics.
Well the Logitech QuickCam. What is there to say? The interface is nice, gives you Msn (also works with Yahoo). Basically the quality could be a little better, unless you have natural light in the room, it will look funny. The driver settings ...
Pros: Easy to use...and does the job that needs to be done Cons: Bad feedback noises occur when the microphone gets too close to the speakers
About a year ago I bought the Logitech QuickCam Messenger Personal Web Camera. I bought it in a two pack and received a $20 mail-in-rebate that I never ended up mailing in. The price was pretty cheap; however I don’t remember exactly how much I did end ...
Save your money.. buy a different cam by ladykeetes ,Aug 13 '04
Pros: Cheap and readily available. Cons: Not worth the box it's packaged in.
I bought this camera by mistake. Called Walmart asking about a different model, they said they had it, went w/ 4 screaming kids and came out w/ this thing.
Forget about getting this camera set at eyelevel if you have a flat panel. Can't do it. You can balance it if you're careful, but most likely it will fall down.
You can't easily adjust the camera angle in the base, so forget about making slight adjustments to the camera, just adjust your body instead.
Unless you have *perfect* lighting, you will be a dark shadowy blob on screen. Even in very good natural light, the picture is dark.
this so called webcam sucks and is the freakin worst! by lexcommsupport ,Sep 16 '06
Pros: You might be able to get a refund or your money back Cons: EVERYTHING
I spent over 10 hours trying to get it to run correctly in the program itself, software that comes with it.. so i reinstalled installed then it worked for a few mins crashed my computer, the same thing happens time and time again, isnt great with yahoo, half the time it doesnt show up, i think it works with msn.. this wasnt worth the 29.00 dollars i spent on it believe me i will be getting a better cam this one is the crappiest logitech has made... and i used to like their products.
Pros: Installation easy, good picture, good sound. Cons: Unable to get mic to work, cord on combo earbud/mic too short.
Installation went successfully, good picture, adjustable focus ok, sound ok, single shot picture ok, could not get the mic to work, and cord too short to reach tower on the floor. Bought it to use chatting with friends on Yahoo Instant Messenger.
The Quick Cam isn't so quick... by tigger1108 ,Oct 06 '04
Pros: inexpensive, easy to install Cons: choppy picture quality
After months of being bugged about it, I decided I wanted my own web cam. I had a Logitech in the past, and figured to go with that brand as it's the only one I'm familiar with, and because it was the least expensive. I was also sold on the rebate they gave. The built in microphone wasn't really a selling point with me.
Installing it was really easy, even I didn't mess up, and that's rare. Step by step instructions made it really difficult to screw up.
It's compatible with all sorts of messengers, but I find it works best with MSN.
The picture quality is ok, although a bit grainy. My main concern is that the pictures are so choppy, even with high speed internet. Sometimes my friends can only see a new frame every MINUTE.
With all aspects in consideration, there is definitely much better out there, but quality for the money paid is pretty good overall.
