Pros: Portable, Decent Quality, Performs Like A Big Grill, Good Price Cons: Ignition System, No work area
During the spring, I began to research portable gas grills to take on the road to football games as well as on our beach vacations during the summer. I was aware of the Coleman Roadtrip series of portable gas grills that fold up and roll on wheels. ...
Pros: Heats up quickly, cooks evenly. Very well built in the USA. Cons: A bit hefty at 35 lbs., but cast iron grate is worth it!
I know people where cooking/grilling at the campsite is the end, they are slaving over hot coals and a dutch oven with elaborate recipes and such... utilizing half a day to make something that takes 5 minutes to eat. That is great, and I can respect ...
Pros: Quality construction. Great grilling on a compact grill!
Cons: Designed for 14.1 oz cylinders.
The Weber Q 100, formerly known as the Baby Q is a great smaller portable grill. With a 8,500 BTU rating, and 189 inches of cooking area, the grill is designed for smaller grilling chores and for portability and mobility. I had been looking for over a ...
Pros: It looks alright. Cons: Afraid of big tanks. Food just sits on the grill and stays raw.
I bought the Weber Q 200 this past weekend. It looked perfect for the small deck we have and in theory it is. Unless you want to use it with at 20 lb tank. The first time I hooked it up... nothing. Checked connections - they were tight. Went down and ...
Pros: weber quality, even cooking, portability, easy cleanup Cons: 14oz. propane canisters, lack of warming tray, no side trays
I became a weber convert several years ago after purchasing a genesis silver c, and experiencing the exceptional cooking found in weber grills. Due to a divorce and move to a small apt without a deck, I was desperate for a grill that I could easily ...
Pros: Durable, good price, ease of setup, ease of use, no issues at all. Cons: none to date.
Bought this grill based on past weber grill ownership and nearly 50 positive reviews elsewhere. Needed a small, durable grill for use on condo/apt porch. Found the 14.1 oz propane cylinders at Lowes for 2.97 in quantity. The canisters last > 1.5 hrs ...
Pros: cooks fast, easy to use, high quality Cons: hinge needs to be stronger
We have had our Baby Q for over 3 years now. It has been the best BBQ that we have bought. We had origionally purchased it with the intention of using it on our boat but when our large home BBQ burnt the controls off of the front we started using it at ...
Pros: Fast, easy to use, great tasting food. Cons: No thermometer
I bought this grill in October and love it. It's quick and easy to use. I even eat healthier now, there is nothing like fish or chicken hot off the grill! I have never written a review for any product before but I have been so impressed that I felt the urge to do so. The only thing missing in my opinion was a thermometer but I purchased one at Home Depot for $7.00, drilled a hole in the front of the lid, done deal. I understand the new grills now have them installed. I have also switched to using a 20 gallon propane tank because I use it so much. I got the hose and fittings from Walmart for $15.00. This is the first gas grill I have ever owned and will never go back to charcoal. I'm single and busy and this fits my lifestyle perfectly.
Weber Baby Q is a pleasant surprise! by investrebroker ,Jul 30 '05
Pros: Excellent cooking! Cooks evenly and quickly. Easy to hook up. Easy to store and transport! Cons: It would be nice if it were a little lighter weight.
I thought the price was a little steep when I went to buy it. I paid $129 at PC Richard but having used it a few times I find it very convenient. I can easily store it in the garage when I am finished cooking. I haven't taken it anywhere yet but this is why I bought it. I can see that it will be very easily transported. I bought the Baby Q because we are building a deck and it won't be done until next summer, therefore we didn't want to buy a bar b que for it yet, but we wanted to grill this summer, so we bought the Baby Q because of the transportability.
Pros: compact, burns evenly, side holding trays, upgradable options, good large size - yet compact! Cons: heavy... um - thats about it!
I recently purchased this grill to replace my old, crummy import grill for our tailgating meals. I must say that this was a very nice upgrade! I've purchased weber grills nearly all my life as my Dad did when I was little. They really do a great job with their grills. I will say that I am starting to like the Baby Q Grill a bit more than my bigger Weber grill. The meat is so close to the grill and the flame is much more even - this is a great grill to have for portable use. Best grill i've found!!!!
Pros: heats like a pro / top quality / easy on gas Cons: none after 3 years
Great grill,I can put two 2 1/2 in. thick top sirloins on this and feed 10 to 12 people, the high heat will put on a nice sear and keep the center moist/ for chicken I use foil and place in the center. Nice quality, I am on my 3rd year and use it year around and it is in excelent condetion! Buy one you won't regret it. You can fold this on it's stand to store. Use it in your garage in the winter ( with the garage door fully open ) and it won't take up much space . I use a pressure washer to clean it / the guy next door has one and loves it, he takes his to the car wash to clean!!
Pros: Sears evenly; easy to clean and use Cons: A bit slow on the start-up
Haven't bought a bbq in years, and am very pleased with the Weber baby q. The grill looks like a heavy cast iron grate and provides a perfect, even 'sear'. Minor downside is that the starter can take a half dozen pushes before the bbq starts. Besides the slow-to-start issue, I highly recommend!
Pros: Easy to assemble; instant 'on' and excellent size. Cons: A bit pricey at $130 but Weber is the name!
I purchased this grille online after missing the summer cookout thing. I use a foreman grille for almost all of my grilling needs all winter long and it does well. I was dreading the assembly by myself, so I let the grille sit in the box for almost a week before tackling this chore. Much to my surprise, within 15 mins. I was up and running with this project. East of assembly and the fact that everything worked the FIRST time, I was astounded. This is my first experience with Weber and I am surely impressed. Can't wait to see how it cooks now. I did my homework and researched this grille prior to purchase. I thought it was a bit pricey but I think it will be worth it. I am cooking for only two people and the size of this grill will allow me to cook a week's worth of chicken breasts.
