I bought this last year and have written to West Bend several times to correct the problem. My lid is peeling paint. You would think that is a hazard but not as far as they are concerned. They said it was something that I did. They will sell me a new lid but the point is this is a manufacturing defect. I have thrown the pan away and will never buy another West Bend product because of poor customer service.
