Pros: Small, quiet, modern looking. Cons: Small, top rack sprinkler arm gets in the way of stuff on the bottom rack.
So, I had absolutely no say in the purchase of this dish washer. It was part of the package in my new apartment. It's a small dishwasher compared to others Ive seen. Im not going to even try to figure out the cubic feet. But it has to b ...

Pros: The idea of push button technology is only pro Cons: Quality is very poor, poor design and poor company customer service.
I am reviewing my current appliances. I purchased my home and moved in October 2005. I have a Whirlpool stove, over range microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator all approximately 3 years old. Not purchased by me. I have already had to make a ...

Pros: None Cons: Loud. Poor cleaner. Flawed design or poor quality assurance.
My dishwasher is 1.5 years old and it started leaking a few weeks ago. First we found a puddle of water on the kitchen floor one morning and the bottoms of the cabinets were ruined. I had to fight with Whirlpool to get them to send a technician to look ...

Poor Design
by mfox25 ,Aug 22 '04
Pros: Cleans dishes like a dishwasher should Cons: Poor design, loud operation
Of all the dishwashers I've used in the past, this is by far the most poorly designed one. Almost every dishwasher has a spray arm attached to the top rack now. There is a plastic "clip" that connects the water supply between the dishwasher and the spray arm that is unusually low and catches the dishes on the lower rack when you pull the top rack out. Because of this, there is less usable room on the lower rack. This problem will drive you crazy as you try to carefully "unpin" caught dishes!! After owning this machine for 3 weeks, I noticed that the heated dry cycle was not working effectively. The maintenance line told me that the unit may be short cycling and I had to cut the power to it. Or that I had to "burp" the dishwasher? Please, this is way too much maintenance for a brand new machine!!! Also, don't believe the "Quiet Partner II" designation; this is one of the loudest machines when running! Spend a little more on another manufacturer.

Clean..................
by mulrooneys ,Jan 23 '04
Pros: clean dishes, food grinder , nice display Cons: less space on lower rack
I bought this to replace a Maytag that was 3 years old and never got the dishes clean. It is great, fast, quiet and well worth the money. I like that the dishes on the top shelf actually get clean, and when it is done, there is a light that tells you its done. The only drawback is that there is a little less space on the lower rack because of the middle sprinkler. I would tell anyone to buy this it is great. My previous Maytag cost more and didn't clean the dishes and , after only 3 years, I was told it would cost more to replace the catch than to buy a new one.

worst dishwasher
by akhjackson ,Dec 29 '04
Pros: When it worked my dishes fit in it nicely. Cons: The wash cycle is extremely long. The racks were flimsily made.
I'm usually a non-complainer, but this dishwasher has gotten me a little fired up! We have had it 2 weeks and it is being removed tomorrow. The top racks are adjustable, but the buttons that hold them in the place you want them to stay broke. So...now you have to load the back and front with equal weight so that the rack isn't leaning one way or the other. If you put something in the front without something in the back the whole thing tilts forward at a 45 degree angle. The silverware holder also has a fancy button that allows you to open and close it. It also broke. You have to rig it to make your silverware stay in it. And to top it all off, it has put a white film the consistency and color of white-out all over my silverware. You have to take a knife to scrape it off. Needless to say, we have been very unhappy. We traded in our 20-year-old dishwasher for this?

New, plastic bound to fail
by a75jeeps ,Apr 25 '06
Pros: Cleaner appearance then a 20 year old work horse.
Cons: Maybe it's all of todays machine but this unit screams of short life.
Got this dishwasher for free. I was happy with my 20 year old Thermador but my wife had an opportunity to get a free "newer" unit and grabbed it.
It does look clean with it's all one color look. Depending on your kitchen, I guess that's a good thing.
I don't like that there is only a small Grab area. You have to find the middle of the door to open it.
I can't imagine these Button switches to last.
This unit claims to be Quiet. I can't say it is any quieter.
I can see these cute little plastic hinged niceties breaking in short order.
Circuit board electronics instead of a reliable Timer switches bothers me too.
All in all it is sooo much cheaper built then the unit I just took out. The racks are much thinner, the Spinning wands are half the thickness, the heater element that sits on these cheesy clips is also very thin.
I bet my old unit running side by side will outlast this 'designed for short life unit'. I'm putting Old reliable in the basement.
