Pros: Still low priced, Good coverage, Compass, Ease of use, Looks Cons: Quiet, No voice alerts, Bulkier

Ok Price, Hot looks

Pros: NICE looks, picks up VG-2 nicely, nice compass, and is easy to install and maintain. Cons: Price, Too many false alarms, and earlier version works fine
I bought this product at Fry's electronics for $108. I was able to install this thing quite easily as I was able to have it up and running properly within 5 minutes of getting in my car with it still in the package. REALLY easy setup. The calibration for the compass is easy when you just drive around in a circle for it to get its coordinates correct. The compass is a neat little feature. It's also a really good looking radar detector. Maybe... if I had better car security, I'd keep it on my windshield, but after I turn off my car and it shuts off, I put it in my glove compartment. But I really love the look of it. My friends were really impressed by that. I havn't been spotted by the cops yet and havn't had too much to worry about, but I did have the VG-2 go off in 2 different areas that usually have no alerts go in that area (meaning it picks up nicely).
