worst single burner ever ...total rip off

Pros: convenient WHEN it's working
Cons: everything...breaks down in 2 months or so
i purchased two Windmere single burners in 11 months. both of them broke down after around three months of use. i thought the first one broke down because i was using the burner at high heat all the time...but then the second time around, i was particularly careful about that...but it STILL broke down after about 2 months...it's ridiculous.
