Great Product!

Pros: Good Sound, Easy To Use, Full Featured, 2 Optical Inputs
Cons: Average Manual, Average Titling Functions, High Priced
I already have a Yamaha rack system and I wanted to stick with Yamaha. I wanted a high end MiniDisc Player/Recorder that was full features and the MDX-793 fits the bill.

Pros: digital OUTPUT, great sound, build quality

I have to disagree with some of the comments in the other reviewers text. The machine is excellent, built to Yamaha standards, its heavy, and you can feel the quality when you lift it. And most importantly it sound incredible. I have a JVC and Sony deck...
