DVD audio quit in 3 weeks

Pros: Versatility - played DVD's CDs (wav and mp3 format), VHS. Several output options Cons: Reliability - see the review
Bought as a replacement for a 20 year old Toshiba VCR that finally died. Worked well for 3 weeks, then the audio circuitry for the DVD player would overheat after an hour or so and not work again until the machine had been turned off for 15 to 20 minutes. VCR continues to work fine, but the machine goes back to Circuit City today.
