Pros: Radio, Voice recorder, only takes one AA, and Very small Cons: Battery doesnt last long, Bad software, and Complicated to understand

From mp3 player to USB drive.

Pros: Tiny, Hold switch, Latest firmware upgrade. Cons: Memory size, Software.
This is your basic MP3/WMA/ASF audio player with stereo output to headphones. It runs on one AA battery. Frequency range 20Hz~20KHz. Signal to noise ratio is 90db. Weight is about 32g plus battery. The player supports USB 1.1 transfer protocol; there is no USB2 support. The storage space of 64MB allows for about one CD album compressed to mp3 format.
One nice feature I would like to mention is Hold switch. Whenever it is enabled, the player is unresponsive to any other buttons, which is very useful when you want to avoid unintentionally pressing the buttons.
iRiver designers have finally grown up and provide a firmware upgrade on their website that morphs the iRiver player to a USB mass storage device, capable of playing songs stored on it. Great, now I can save songs as well as other files to my iRiver, and take them wherever I please. Besides, I do not need any special software to transfer the files any more.
Bottom line: This is a neat tiny mp3 player, especially attractive after the firmware upgrade. However, if I would look to by an mp3 player now, I would opt for one with at least 256MB memory.

Pros: Amazing sound, verrrrrry easy to use, great battery life Cons: memory space is not nearly enough, usb cable is wimpy, the joystick wears out
Im looking for a new mp3 player, but decided to write a review on this. Good, the reason I am looking for a new one is the lack of memory. The usb cable breaks very easily.
