Pros: Good sound, tons of features, frequent firmware upgrades Cons: Poor recognition by windows, USB 1.1, menu system
I’ve had the iRiver IFP-380T mp3 player now for about two months, and so far, I am impressed by the tremendous amount of features available to the user. I got a good deal on it (about 100 dollars), and although the player has its flaws, I am not ...
Pros: Size, weight, user-friendliness, great sound, Mac/PC compatibility, long battery life, cool appearance. Cons: Smallish capacity, dumb earphone cord, doesn't come with belt clip.
My husband bought me this player as a total surprise for my birthday in October '03. He bought it for features and looks. He had to find one that was sure to groove with my Macintosh (I'm a Mac snob-graphic artist). This player works very well with ...
Pros: Sturdy, good sound, shuffle mode, FM tuner, decent battery life. Cons: Software doesn't always recognize the player. Can't u/l mp3s. No AM tuner. counter-intuitive menu.
I bought the IFP380T about 6 months ago and would recommend it. The FM tuner and onboard shuffle mode helped me decide on this player. Its amazing how many players don't offer those options. Sound :: Sound quality is great. It has several preset EQ ...
Pros: Very compact
Easy to master
Comes with the LINE-IN cable Cons: 128MB might be a tad small
Another great product by iRiver, and very affordable. At a retail of $139, and easily obtainable for less with some searching, the iRiver iFP-380T is no doubt a winner. Although I was eyeing the 256MB unit, I managed to receive this one with 128MB ...
Pros: Small size, good-looking, great-sounding, lots of features, ease of use Cons: Supplied earphones can be a pain, occasional minor hang-ups with the player/software
I got my iRiver for Christmas '03, and have been using it pretty steadily since then. At first I was mainly listening to the FM radio, since I was at home and my computer/MP3s were in my dorm at college. I could have listened to the factory-installed ...
Pros: Very easy to use, value for money. Cons: 128MB and you're stuck with it.
I have had the mp3 player about 2 or so weeks now and feel that I can safely recommend it to almost anyone. Sure, there's better players on the market such as the iPod, but if you don't fancy taking out a loan with the bank for the sake of listening to ...
Pros: Great recording features, Good FM reception/sound quality. Cons: No port for standard voice microphones.
This is my first mp3 player and some of the things that I like about it may be common to all, but I have marveled many times at all of its features and how well they function. After months of reading reviews and trying to decide between hard drive/flash ...
Pros: Sound Quality,Functions, size,Voice Recorder,Record from FM Radio
Cons: Paint Wears Off,Non Expandable Memory,Basically Nothing ELSE HONESTLY
When i brought the iriver audio player i was impressed at how small(about as small as an average adults thumb) it was and the extra functions the player had.It was perfect for exercise as it has no moving parts and did not skip. You can customize ...
Pros: GREAT Sound! - Easy to use - Lockable controls - Overall a great deal! Cons: STUPID Neck Strap...Hope I-River changes this.
EXCELLENT!!!!!
For the price I cannot imagine getting a better product. Reasonably easy to use and the sound is EXCELLENT. For around $100.00 I don't know that you could do any better. I can't imagine what more you could get by paying $200-300 for a mp3 player. My only gripe is the stupid neck strap that comes with it. You cannot run with it as it bounces and moves everywhere. Easy to solve by going to wal-mart and puchasing an arm band for a few bucks. You can strap to your arm when you run or stairstep or run, or strap to your weight-belt when you lift. Easy fix. Maybe IRiver will figure out. Otherwise, well worth the money. Everyone I have had listen to this is totally amazed at the sound this thing produces. Recommend - you will not be disappointed. By the way, radio works fine for a mp3.
One of the BEST electronics to own! by ecstasis ,Mar 23 '04
Pros: Small, light weight, great sound. Quick to upload music! Cons: Honestly, I cant think of one!
Im one of those people who love music, but hate lugging around a huge cd player, not to mention how it never fits in any of the trendier purses I have. Now If you really love music, and like to have alot of it to listen to, on your way to work, in between a break, or when you're on the go, the IRiver Mp3 Player is the way to go! Ever since i purchased this, I have had a huge smile on my face. Its so tiny that it fits in the palm of your hand. Its very sophisticated and stylish. I have one that is blue and gray colored, and it suits either men or women. The sound quality is wonderful!I have the 128MB, and it fits countless songs. Transferring music from your pc to the mp player takes literally a minute or two. The headphones that come with it are great as well! I LOVE this product!
Pros: displays artist and song title Cons: cann't put in a memory card to increase the recording time.
I bought it because it displayed the artist name and song name, which my earlier mp3 didn't have. Also displays the track # and how long you are into the current track.
Has a FM radio with uses the earphone cord as the antenna. Has a line in jack and a mono mike for voice recording.
It has a 3 sided design which fits nicely in your hand, letting you advance to the next song or adjust the volume.
Press the joy stick up or down to adjust the volume and right or left to change songs.
Pressing the buttons does one thing, holding it down does another.
Icons for repeating the same track and the like are very small and if you're over 45 you're likely to have trouble "reading" them.
Surprising these mp3 players have a shorter battery life that a brand name portable cd player, but its still rated at about 20 hours.
