Pros: Great Bagels, Delicious Coffee, Wonderful Employees Cons: So-So Lunch
There is nothing better than a doughnut and coffee in the morning. It can make a rough start, after falling off the wrong side of the bed for the second straight day, a bit of an improvement over what's to be expected. However, as doughnuts are the worst ...
Pros: great bagels, decent prices, casual atmosphere Cons: may wait in line and not get a table, service not friendly, not super clean
Since being in Florida Ive gone into Einstein Bros Bagels almost every day; however, it was always take out. Recently I met friends there for breakfast. Location: 22107 Powerline Road in Boca Raton, Florida (561) 368-1045 The decor: ...
Pros: healthier than a burger and often tastier Cons: not gourmet
I tend to prefer individual restaurants and eateries over chains or fast food. That said there are often times that circumstances dictate eating in these chain establishments. In truth, I cant say that the food is always bad or mediocre. ...
Pros: Good bagels, fast service, no rush to get you out. Cons: It's still a chain.
In the UK it is difficult to get decent bagels outside of London. This is a shame as I love the dense chewiness of fresh baked bagels, be they plain, sweet, savory, filled or plain. So whilst in the US I like to make the most of it.
Pros: Attractive stores, decent prices Cons: Not authentic bagels, chain pretending to be mom and pop shop
I first heard of Einstein bagels when the chain opened a store in the town where I was working. My job included writing about new businesses, so I set out to get comment on the bagel restaurant. One of my first sources, a sincere fellow, but also a...
Pros: Bagels galore, bagel dogs Cons: Not open for dinner, salad freshness not reliable
if you eat at Einstein Brothers Bagels. Or at least that's what they would have you believe. Einsteins is the largest operator of bagel bakeries in the U.S., with stores in nearly every state. There are 440 locations of this quick serve ...
Pros: A veritable heaven for bagel affictionados; still pretty good for everyone else. Cons: If you set one foot inside this store, Dr. Atkins will personally kill you.
Einstein's is yet another chain to adopt the modern fast food philosophy: make a store with nice lighting, make sure every item on the menu has a hip-sounding name, and charge customers twice what they'd pay anywhere else. It's the strategy behind ...
Pros: Great chicken noodle soup, very friendly employees Cons: Filthy bathrooms, no bagel chips included with soup....
I met my husband just shortly after his eleven year stint in New York City. At the time, we were both living and working in the well scrubbed, well behaved, white bread community of Grand Rapids, Michigan. I use these words not as pejoratives, but...
Pros: great food, decent prices, a different kind of bagel, variety Cons: sometimes a bit slow

Pros: many varieties, lots of other food options, good quality Cons: NY bagelers still won't be satisified
Those who are lucky enough to enjoy NY bagels on a regular basis needn't bother with Einstein Bagels...but since so many of us either must deal with nasty supermarket varieties or else find a decent bagel shop, we flock to Einstein.
Pros: Tasty bagels and bread, great deli sandwiches Cons: Desserts are so-so
I’ve lived near an Einstein Brothers store for about eight years now – but a bad review by a friend kept me from trying the place until this year. Now I’m wondering what took me so long.
Yum! I must thank Einstein Brother's Bagels. I live in the New York Metro area, where bagel shops are in abundance, but some of these bagels are the size of my head. Lender's bagels are just too tiny, but Einstein's are perfection personified. ...
Pros: Yummy in my tummy Cons: Don't go as often as I would like to
Ah, it's Sunday morning. My friend and I are walking back from church down Wisconsin Ave, just past the Safeway. We see the flea market across the street, and take a look. But first, got to grab a bagel!
Pros: selection, accompanying fare, big tables Cons: some of the toppings are only on one side of the bagel
Supermarket bagels pretty much suck, but you probably don't even realize this until you've had a real bagel. Einstein Brothers makes real bagels, even though some New York purist-types may argue with me on this. If you want a good bagel, and don't have...

Einstein Bros is a great coffee/bagel shop and cafe. They are open for breakfast and lunch, and serve a variety of bagels and sandwiches. They a great stop for a quick lunch or carry-out.
Pros: Fresh, chewy, closest I've seen to a NY Bagel Cons: Raisins in the cinnamon bagels!
Okay, I'm a sort of bagel snob. I grew up in New York where, as we all should know, the best bagels are made. (I'm sure it's that great NY water that makes the difference.) My mother owned a bagel shop so I've certainly had my fill of every kind of bagel...
Pros: Extremely fresh, a variety of flavors Cons: They run out quickly
Not long ago Einstein Bros. Bagels opened a store next to my favorite Starbucks. I had previously been to another location of Einstein's about a year or so before so one Friday I decided to check out the new Einsteins after obtaining my morning...
Pros: Best bagels, smears and configurations. Cons: shop is too cold and decaf is only one flavor.
Because I often substitute teach at Broad Ripple High School in Indianapolis, Indiana, I find myself wandering across the street during lunch time sneaking off for a cup of Joe, or in this case a Melvin and a bagel. Entering into an Einstein Bros Bagel...
Pros: Consistent quality; many wonderful sandwiches made with bagels. Cons: Can't think of any.
Ten years ago, I didn't know a bagel from a navel (they both have holes, right?). Now I try every new bagel place that I see and I eat the things constantly. I love 'em.
Einstein's bagels are not my favorite, but they are extremely good and...
Pros: Great food, varied menu, vegan/etc friendly Cons: Slightly expensive, doesn't accept CC
I love this restaurant! Its one of my favorite of the new "trendy" bagel shops popping up around town. I usually am there at least once a week and would go more but no one else in my family likes bagels. Their menu is definately a plus side to...
Pros: Excellent bagels, large variety, family of 4 eats breakfast for under $10 Cons: I have to drive one town over to get here!
It doesn't take an Einstein to figure out why you should eat at Einstein Brothers. Large, delicious bagels, lots of shmears, the best salads, a nice assortment of cookie treats, their own brand of (fantastic) potato chips, incredible coffee and a nice...
I have been in the Einstein Bagel Shoppes from coast to coast (well from Florida to Utah anyway) and the bagels taste, look and feel like they are cooked by the same old man that has somewhat of a funny way of looking at a bagel.
Pros: Everything is fresh Cons: Menu is based on bagels
When I was growing up, every Sunday we had a big brunch. The table would be set with fresh cream cheese, nova lox, , bagels and all the fixings for a supper bagel sandwich. Einstein Bros. brings Sunday brunches back, every day.(and then some)
Pros: Tasty breakfast sandwhich Cons: Is nothing real in this place.
I always thought that the best bagels came from little Jewish bakeries on Manhattans lower east side. Apparently so do about 8 out of 10 members of megacorp's focus group. The entire place is like a big sting operation, they just moved in a couple of...
Pros: great bagels, great atmosphere, great prices Cons: not so great service, closes too early

Pros: Fast, Cheap, a comfortable place to hang out with friends Cons: none

Pros: great variety, nice price, huge bagels Cons: not open too late
I had never heard of Einstein Brothers Bagels until we moved to Las Vegas. My husband and I were out driving and drove past one. A few days later I was craving some bagels, and was excited to find out that there was one right down the road from us. ...
It does not take the man who came up with E=mc(squared) to know that the best bagels do not come from a chian bagel bakery. They come from independent mom and pop bagel bakeries in New York City. To say otherwise is a crime of humanity. It's...
Pros: Good bagels, sandwiches, and friendly service. Cons: none

When first entering the store, I was greeted with friendly service and a very good menu, which includes many different kinds of bagels, bagel sandwiches and other pastries; as well as, a variety of flavored coffee.
Pros: cheap and healthy Cons: always seems to be packed with people
I have just had the best bagel sandwich ever, from Einstein's. I moved to Colorado from Massachusetts, where "New York Bagel" shops are in abundance, but have never had a bagel experience like I did at Einstein's. A co-worker and I were looking...
Pros: good food, reasonable prices Cons: terrible service, need more variety
I had to really debate in my mind if Einstein Bagels was going on my love it or hate it list. I love it and I hate it just the same. I love the bagels. They're tasty, large and fresh. A particular favorite is the everything bagel with hummus. The prices...
Pros: Newspapers in dining area Cons: Limited selection, Not for ordinary tastes, Poor service
I evaluate restaurants for companies. I was apprehensive when I was assigned to visit Einsteins for the first time. It was the first time I'd been in a bagel shop. For that matter, it was the first time I'd eaten a bagel. I decided I might as well give...

Pros: Great food. A lot of variety and seasonal food and cookies. Cons: The service is really bad and the personal are very rude and not friendly.
Einstein's is a great place to eat. You have to a lot of money and patience to survive a trip there. The food is good once you get it and the employees aren't the kindest people in the world. Food tastes wonderful though. I use to eat there a lot but...
Pros: food is just ok. Cons: Very very poor service.
If you want mediocre food and don't mind being abused by the staff, this is the place for you. Every time I have been to any Einstein's Bagels the staff has always been rude or annoyed to help make a sandwich that takes less than a minute. Today, in ...

I can't give an opinion about the chain itself, since I have only been to the one located in Brandon, FL, which is only minutes from our home. But if this restaurant is indicative of the chain, they have a lot going for them. The bagels are delicious and...
Pros: variety, take home potential, friendly employees. Cons: Not enough of Einsteins' everywhere!

Pros: Fresh Cons: The recipe they use in recent years: Not a real bagel texture.
Einstein Brothers bagels are baked fresh with plenty of toppings... but are they really bagels? When Baltimore bagels was purchased by Einstein Brothers almost a decade ago, they retained the original recipe.
But the bagels now have the same texture of rolls. If they are boiled prior to being baked, that would be a real surprise, because they sure don't taste like they were.
Pros: Definately the bagel wrapped hotdogs and the potato bagels Cons: the salads are very high in calorie content

Sodium Levels in Einstein Bros Bagels by schirrer ,Mar 03 '04
Pros: Flavor, variety. Cons: Harmful levels of sodium
I was an Einstein regular for several years until I discovered a direct link between my daily Einstein bagel breakfast and high blood pressure. When I went off their bagels, my blood pressure regularized. I still succumb to the pleasures of eating one of their bagels, but only once in a blue moon.
If they could reduce the sodium content of their bagels (sodium spikes blood pressure), a lot of people would flock to Einstein again.
But for now, their bagels with 490-650 mg of sodium each are dangerous for those who are, or should be, on sodium-restricted diets. If you have blood pressure problems, or are at risk of stroke, try something else instead.
Cinnamon raisin are great !!! by jbfree ,Sep 28 '06
Pros: Great especially in the early morning Cons: By closing time sometimes not as good
Best Cinnamon raisin bagels around. They are firm and chewy. They use lots of real raisins. Most chains or baged bagels skimp on the raisins. They cut one raisin in twenty pieces and call it a raisin filled bagel, Elaines bagels is famous for this. Not Einstein.
