Pros: great food and great service Cons: can't think of any
I am very shocked about all the negative comments for one of my favorite breakfast places. I go to the one in Oceanside, CA. It is very clean, friendly and prompt service, and no complaints about any bad food. We must be lucky, I guess, to have a good...
Pros: Great food, service and price. Cons: Wish I could afford to take the family there more often.
I am a big fan of IHOP. I love all of their food and I have never had an incompetent or unfriendly waitress. They come to your table immediately and are very friendly and attentive even to the kids.
The International House of Pancakes(IHOP) has an assortment of foods from Breakfast to lunch to Dinner. However they are most famous for breakfast. They have pancakes any way you want them from traditional to blueberry or just about any other kind. You can...
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Aside from my wife's Granny, it is my favorite place to get breakfast. The food is always hot and brought to your table relatively quickly. The amount of food served makes this place a true bargain.
Pros: Clean, Very Reasonably Priced, Good Food Cons: The one near me is about 20 minutes away
I love going to the IHOP. The restaurant is clean and the food is well-prepared and tasty. They take credit cards but the prices are so reasonable, it's not usually difficult to come up with enough cash to pay your tab.
My experiences with IHOP chain limited to six different California locations and this past visit to Groton, CT facility. 12 July 2000 my
colleague and I paid a late-night (approx. 1:30am) visit to the IHOP
in Groton, CT after a 12-hr shift at...
Pros: Good food, when they have food Cons: Terrible service, usually out of food
I've always loved IHOP. Every time I ever traveled as a child, we always found an IHOP. About one year ago, I was tickled pink to hear that we were actually getting an IHOP in Danville, Virginia.
I eat there regularly, but only because my standing...
Pros: Decent food at reasonable prices. Cons: Too many pancakes!
We went to IHOP for the first time in a long time yesterday. They have just opened a new IHOP not too far from us and we thought we would check it out.
IHOP offers a wide variety of food items on their menu. They have sandwiches, salads and...
Some time you have the feeling to dine after 10PM. However, it too late to find a good place because most of the dining restaurant close at 10PM. As a student some time I study late and I like to reward my self with a good meal but I don’t have time to...
In live in a small town that is growing rapidly, and a few years ago we had an IHOP move in, the first time that we ate there it was just wonderful, but as time has passed that place has gone down hill fast, a little over a year ago, I ate there and my...
I go to IHOP whenever I can. I love their potato things. They are not potato pancakes and not perogies but I can't think of what they are called and they are not on the menu here.
The staff is wonderful at the one I go to here in FL. They...
On vacation last summer my boyfriend and I were traveling through the south. Somewhere in Tennessee we passed an IHOP and my boyfriend began waxing poetic about the amazing wonders of the IHOPS he had visited in college. When he heard I had never been...
Pros: cheap, yummy Cons: read below to see that one
International House of Pancakes is just what it is. The restaurant has breakfast at all hours of the day. The pancakes are great. This is the only place I can think of that has different flavors of syrup for you to try on your breakfast food. This...
Pros: Open early, price is right, most of them have reasonably good service and food Cons: You occasionally get a bad restaurant
I have eaten at four different IHOP restaurants in the past 10 years. The one in Hapeville, Ga, a suburb of Atlanta is for the birds. The one in Newnan, Ga., (this is a company owned store) is excellent. The one in Columbus, Ga. is one of the best...
Pros: none Cons: too expensive and not customer friendly
I have a family of 4 and we were in Waxahachie and it was very cold. We decided that a cup of hot chocolate would do the trick. We went to IHOP. We have eaten at many establishments and this was the worst. The service was extremely slow. We had to...
Pros: variety of menu items, great prices Cons: need in smaller towns
I'm not a pancake person, and until the past year, pretty much thought this was all you could get at IHOP.
I was very wrong....the thing that I like most about IHOP is that with my family of 5 very individual taste, we can all find something to...
Pros: any food any time; staff, prices Cons: room-to-move when it's busy
I've eaten here in the mornings, afternoon, evenings, and late at night. Every time I order the same thing--the big country breakfast.
That's the best part of IHOP--you can order anything any time you want. And I take full advantage of that...
Let me tell you all about this " Wonderful" little restraunt chain. I had a friend who worked there as a waitress. She was repeatedly propositioned,by fellow co-workers and almost got raped in a kitchen closet by the manager of the IHOP. Does...
Pros: The foods is soooo tasty Cons: The staff - worst ever
What do ILOVE about the IHOP? The food, the food, the food! I love the food at IHOP. I love their chicken fajita omelet and I ordered almost every single time I am at the IHOP (you mean there are other menu options?) It tastes like a burrito (or a ...
Stopped in on 11/15/06 around 9:30PM, the place was almost empty. I followed two ladies in and saw one man seated in a booth. Since I was kindly in a hurry(I was on a trip delivering expedited freight). I order a Southwestern Chicken Salad, which ...
Pros: The staff and managers realize that their bosses are insane. Cons: Regional headquarters has ordered that the floors be scrubbed while customers are restaurant eating.
IHOPs are franchised, which means that individual restaurants are owned by whoever has the cash to buy one. Beyond setting the menu items and doing national marketing, it is hard to see how the franchisor has any input into or control over the daily ...
The first time I hate at Ihop was on my honeymoon. We don't have Ihop around where we live so when we vacation to Tennessee we always make a point to stop by Ihop's. We have always had fast, friendly service and the restaurant has always been...
Pros: Food selection is good.
Actual food isn't too bad. Cons: Service is horrible!
In our little town we are always happy to get a new restaurant. We used to only have one breakfast place and it was more of a greasy spoon than anything. (It has since closed down)
ANyway, I had never eaten at an IHOP (call me inexperienced) so I...
Pros: Great pancakes, portions are large enough that you can split your plate with a friend. Cons: Wait.
I am a huge fan of breakfast, it is my favourite meal of the day. It's usually not a meal I go out for, but when I do I really enjoy it. I usually go to IHOP when I go out for breakfast, their portions are huge! But first thing when I wake up I could ...
Pros: We have never had a bad meal at IHOP. Cons: Sometimes the service is not what we expect form IHOP employees.
My wife and I have dined at the IHOP (International House of Pancakes) in Vacaville California many times. We have had breakfasts, lunches and dinner at IHOP and never had a bad experience. The variety provided by IHOP is hard to beat at any other...
Pros: The food is affordable. Cons: Because the food is affordable the staff is incompetent, and the cleanliness non-existent.
Being not a football fan has never been a problem in my life. I don't watch it on tv or join in the inner office pools at work. Instead I avoid it like the plague. This sentiment is exactly what brought me to IHOP on Superbowl Sunday. I figured that ...
Pros: I didn't die from it Cons: Everything from service to food to EVERYTHING!
Okay, so it was my older brother's birthday. My family and I decide to go out to breakfast. We (my mom, younger bro & I) secretly decide to go to Guadalaharry's for their breakfast brunch (absolutely DELICIOUS!), and tell my older bro that we are going...
Pros: Keeps the whole menu available all night, great food Cons: Non-smoking during the peak hours on the weekends and holidays
We eat at IHOP at least four nights a week. Almost always late at night. We love that IHOP doesn't restrict their menu at night, as similar restaurants like Denny's and Village Inn do. Just because our schedules make it most convenient for us to dine...
Pros: Bring a paper, eat by yourself and everyone will leave you alone Cons: Bring a pen and paper and hand your orders directly to the cooks
I recently discovered cream cheese. Well, I didn't "discover" it, I just recently found that I liked it. Up until that point, I was convinced that the only thing I needed for breakfast was a Kellogg's breakfast bar (Not the apple ones because I OD'd on...
Pros: It was a more comfortable temp than outside Cons: bad food, bad service, I had to pay for that.
I have been to this restaurant a number of times over the last 10 years, and see the same things all the time... Dirty tables, damaged wall and floor coverings, snippy staff, and the food always gives me heartburn - if I can even choke it down. Why go...
Pros: Great food, great service Cons: Not every town has one
My husband is on the road a lot and the one place he loves to eat is iHOP, he tries to find one on ever trip he goes on. He says the food is the best, as for me, I agree. My kids love the kids menu, my youngest(4) loves the pizza... I have never eaten...
IHOP is a great place to go eat after have jsut gotten out of a movie or just want a late night snack. It's great because it's open until two in the morning. My favorite breakfast item is chocolate chip pancakes. However, they do put way too many...
Pros: Great pancake breakfast. Cons: Unfortunately, the menus are very limited.
I have been eating at this restaurant since 1963, and the only good thing about this restaurant is their pancakes and they make very good pancakes. They come in different flavors and I like the banana pancakes the most. Other than that, I really don't...
Recently IHOP opened a restaurant near our home. Having enjoyed the IHOP restaurants we had visited in the past, my wife and I were eager to try this new one out. My wife's parents were the first that we knew to go there. They told us about the...
Pros: Pour your own coffee. Cons: High prices and often terrible service.
There are over 20 IHOPs in Houston. Unfortunately, I've had to boycott five of them (and counting) due to extremely lousy service. The most common scenario is a group of employees sitting around laughing and talking with each other while my group waits...
Pros: Good food, Great Service, Pleasant Atmosphere Cons: None so far
As far as I know, there is only one place that serves breakfast all day (forgive me if I am wrong). If I want breakfast for dinner, IHOP is the place to go. There are very good reasons for me saying this.
I have gone to IHOP on several occasions the quality of food was outstanding. The cleanliness of the restaurant was emaculant. The quantity of food was filling and there was actually more than I could eat.
Pros: Breakfast, Clean Cons: Anything else besides Breakfast is nasty
IHOP:
IHOP is suppose to be the big old pancake house. It is although they also deceided to involve some lunch and dinner. Bad idea. The Pancakes are the best idea. I would have to say that the french toast is also a good choice. IHOP is...
Pros: The BEST pancakes ever! Cons: Sometimes slow service.
I don't know what I would do without IHOP. Our local IHOP burned down last Summer and still hasn't been re-built. We've had to go to other IHOPS to get the pancakes! Let me tell you, I got hooked on pancakes because of IHOP. There was a point where I...
Pros: decent breakfast food for relatively cheap prices Cons: Lunch/Dinner menu is overpriced
Well, around me there are two choices if you want to get breakfast all day. You either go to Denny's or IHOP. Well IHOP is much better than Denny's. I have found the staff there to be much friendlier and the service much quicker.
Pros: Good omelots Cons: they do not accept checks just cash and credit cards
Lets see if I can write this again without getting kicked off (internet with one phone line is not fun.) But Ihop is and let me tell you with a family of five who want it all at those breakfast for dinner meals Ihop is excellent food without 10 skillets...
I went to IHOP in Newnan ga, on mother's day to enjoy a nice meal with my family. Our waiter Renee was very pleasant and punctual with her services. After receiving our order we began to eat dinner. As I looked down to get another popcorn shrimp from my ...
Pros: Chicken crepes at an IHOP price!!! Cons: Too much sugar in the batter.
My most recent trip to IHOP yielded a new find: Crepes stuffed with chicken, mushrooms, swiss and spinach, covered in hollandaise. This is a new menu item at IHOP and is also offered in a vegetarian option called Garden Crepes. I enjoyed my crepes very much and only have one complain. The batter had sugar in it. Yes, they tasted as if they had used the same batter as the breakfast crepes. It did not make the experience unenjoyable, but did occasionally make me wish I had also ordered breakfast crepes for dessert.
Pros: The coffee was good (how could they mess that up, right?) Cons: All the food. It was nasty.
At the IHOP in Aurora, Illinois by I-88. This was the worst food (and service!) I've ever received in my life. Runny cold eggs, cream cheese in a crepe that was clearly watered down, and cold pancakes, sausages, bacon.
Pros: I think that Cinnastacks pancakes should be a regular menu item available everyday at IHOP. Cons: I don't think they should be "lmited time only" every certain number of months.
I love the Cinnastacks pancakesavailable occasionally at IHOP! From the sweet cinnamon glaze, to the butteriness of the actual pancakes, finishing off at the perfect shape of whipped cream at the top. I'm sure a lot of people would agree.
Food poisoning and service with a smile by brinxster ,Feb 11 '08
Pros: Food was delicious! Cons: food poisoning, sick for 2 days, dehydration, fever, cold sweats, etc...
I went to the IHop up the street with a friend, we both ordered the French toast. It was very good but about 15 minutes later we both felt ill and i'll spare you the details of what came next but it was a very agonizing drive back home.
IHOP Panama City, Florida Simply Awful Service by zebrat ,Feb 19 '08
Pros: Food is good and priced right Cons: You need a lot of time on your hands to eat here
Went for lunch at this IHOP on 02/14/2008 and waited 20 minutes for waitress to take order, even though there were empty tables and the restaurant was about 80% occupied.
After order was placed, food arrived one hour and five minutes after that. At least a dozen other diners got up and walked out after waiting just as long, and not getting their food. This restaurant is short of cooks, wait staff and cashiers/hostesses. If you get there at breakfast time, order something on the lunch menu, and have a lot of patience and time on your hands, this might be just the place for you. The few employees who were working that day tried very hard, but the kitchen help simply could not keep pace with the waitresses' orders. The cashier was performing three jobs-taking care of the register; playing hostess and seating people; cleaning off tables. This restaurant places ads in the newspaper on a regular basis to hire staff. There is a large turnover in their employees. Easy to figure why.
The I hop in Statesville North Carolina by cierrasky ,Aug 15 '05
Pros: The food is very good at I hop Cons: The servers were very slow and very unpleasant. the manager was down right rude!
We had lunch at I hop and It is the last time we will ever
visit that resterant. we were there waiting for over 45 minutes just to get our food, The servers were not friendly at all, and the manager himself thought that waiting that long was no big deal. The resterant's business was very slow too,it was 4:05pm when we got there and our food didn't arive till 4:45. so we took it to go and left. We have eaten at I hop before and found the food to be very good, But as for this place. We will never go there again!
Pros: Nice waitstaff (if you could find them) Cons: Worst food I've ever tried to consume. No focus on customer satisfaction.
Rubbery Pancakes, had to get our own silverware and refills, out of most condiments, 6 out of 7 entrees had to be sent back, food was cold, silverware was dirty.
Pros: Delicious, Healthy selections, Kid Friendly, Inexpensive, Egg white option, Great Service, Great Coffee! Cons: Can't really think of any cons. Oh, well, they did change their honey mustard.
Why don't you all try an egg white garden omelette.. hold the onions and go easy on the cheese. Substitute the pancakes for a side salad & go easy on the dressing.
There you have it. THE BEST OMELETTES EVER! SUPER HEALTHY! VERY INEXPENSIVE!
For those of you who complain about the service. Maybe try the Ihops in Houston. I've never had a single complaint.
Pros: NONE Cons: Bad food, rushed service, unfriendly atmosphere.
Premade toaster waffles instead of fresh made waffles, strawberry jam instead of real strawberries (and they ARE in season), and cool whip are what is passed as "Belgian Waffles with Strawberries". Served by a waitress whose apparent job was to hurry and get us served and out of there, prodded by a resturant nazi yelling at servers and table cleaners to hurry if there was ANY slight laps of time in full earshot of the customers. This is NOT the Ihop I remember and is the last time I will eat there. I wanted a treat for my birthday and got the above.
Paperback, Growing In The Prophetic Mike Bickle combines biblical balance and passionate faith to draw readers into new spiritual levels of relationship with God. This revised edition di...
