Pros: Pour your own coffee. Cons: High prices and often terrible service.
There are over 20 IHOPs in Houston. Unfortunately, I've had to boycott five of them (and counting) due to extremely lousy service. The most common scenario is a group of employees sitting around laughing and talking with each other while my group waits...
Pros: Good food, Great Service, Pleasant Atmosphere Cons: None so far
As far as I know, there is only one place that serves breakfast all day (forgive me if I am wrong). If I want breakfast for dinner, IHOP is the place to go. There are very good reasons for me saying this.
I have gone to IHOP on several occasions the quality of food was outstanding. The cleanliness of the restaurant was emaculant. The quantity of food was filling and there was actually more than I could eat.
Pros: Breakfast, Clean Cons: Anything else besides Breakfast is nasty
IHOP:
IHOP is suppose to be the big old pancake house. It is although they also deceided to involve some lunch and dinner. Bad idea. The Pancakes are the best idea. I would have to say that the french toast is also a good choice. IHOP is...
Pros: The BEST pancakes ever! Cons: Sometimes slow service.
I don't know what I would do without IHOP. Our local IHOP burned down last Summer and still hasn't been re-built. We've had to go to other IHOPS to get the pancakes! Let me tell you, I got hooked on pancakes because of IHOP. There was a point where I...
Pros: decent breakfast food for relatively cheap prices Cons: Lunch/Dinner menu is overpriced
Well, around me there are two choices if you want to get breakfast all day. You either go to Denny's or IHOP. Well IHOP is much better than Denny's. I have found the staff there to be much friendlier and the service much quicker.
Pros: Good omelots Cons: they do not accept checks just cash and credit cards
Lets see if I can write this again without getting kicked off (internet with one phone line is not fun.) But Ihop is and let me tell you with a family of five who want it all at those breakfast for dinner meals Ihop is excellent food without 10 skillets...
I went to IHOP in Newnan ga, on mother's day to enjoy a nice meal with my family. Our waiter Renee was very pleasant and punctual with her services. After receiving our order we began to eat dinner. As I looked down to get another popcorn shrimp from my ...
Pros: Chicken crepes at an IHOP price!!! Cons: Too much sugar in the batter.
My most recent trip to IHOP yielded a new find: Crepes stuffed with chicken, mushrooms, swiss and spinach, covered in hollandaise. This is a new menu item at IHOP and is also offered in a vegetarian option called Garden Crepes. I enjoyed my crepes very much and only have one complain. The batter had sugar in it. Yes, they tasted as if they had used the same batter as the breakfast crepes. It did not make the experience unenjoyable, but did occasionally make me wish I had also ordered breakfast crepes for dessert.
Pros: The coffee was good (how could they mess that up, right?) Cons: All the food. It was nasty.
At the IHOP in Aurora, Illinois by I-88. This was the worst food (and service!) I've ever received in my life. Runny cold eggs, cream cheese in a crepe that was clearly watered down, and cold pancakes, sausages, bacon.
Pros: I think that Cinnastacks pancakes should be a regular menu item available everyday at IHOP. Cons: I don't think they should be "lmited time only" every certain number of months.
I love the Cinnastacks pancakesavailable occasionally at IHOP! From the sweet cinnamon glaze, to the butteriness of the actual pancakes, finishing off at the perfect shape of whipped cream at the top. I'm sure a lot of people would agree.
Food poisoning and service with a smile by brinxster ,Feb 11 '08
Pros: Food was delicious! Cons: food poisoning, sick for 2 days, dehydration, fever, cold sweats, etc...
I went to the IHop up the street with a friend, we both ordered the French toast. It was very good but about 15 minutes later we both felt ill and i'll spare you the details of what came next but it was a very agonizing drive back home.
IHOP Panama City, Florida Simply Awful Service by zebrat ,Feb 19 '08
Pros: Food is good and priced right Cons: You need a lot of time on your hands to eat here
Went for lunch at this IHOP on 02/14/2008 and waited 20 minutes for waitress to take order, even though there were empty tables and the restaurant was about 80% occupied.
After order was placed, food arrived one hour and five minutes after that. At least a dozen other diners got up and walked out after waiting just as long, and not getting their food. This restaurant is short of cooks, wait staff and cashiers/hostesses. If you get there at breakfast time, order something on the lunch menu, and have a lot of patience and time on your hands, this might be just the place for you. The few employees who were working that day tried very hard, but the kitchen help simply could not keep pace with the waitresses' orders. The cashier was performing three jobs-taking care of the register; playing hostess and seating people; cleaning off tables. This restaurant places ads in the newspaper on a regular basis to hire staff. There is a large turnover in their employees. Easy to figure why.
The I hop in Statesville North Carolina by cierrasky ,Aug 15 '05
Pros: The food is very good at I hop Cons: The servers were very slow and very unpleasant. the manager was down right rude!
We had lunch at I hop and It is the last time we will ever
visit that resterant. we were there waiting for over 45 minutes just to get our food, The servers were not friendly at all, and the manager himself thought that waiting that long was no big deal. The resterant's business was very slow too,it was 4:05pm when we got there and our food didn't arive till 4:45. so we took it to go and left. We have eaten at I hop before and found the food to be very good, But as for this place. We will never go there again!
Pros: Nice waitstaff (if you could find them) Cons: Worst food I've ever tried to consume. No focus on customer satisfaction.
Rubbery Pancakes, had to get our own silverware and refills, out of most condiments, 6 out of 7 entrees had to be sent back, food was cold, silverware was dirty.
