Long John Silver's

Pros: Good food, good price

My husband and i love to go to Long John Silver's Seafood Shoppe. Yes, he loves the fish and I love the chicken. The french fries and cole slaw are also very, very good.

I ate at the Long John Silver's in Tucson AZ and I wasn't even treated like a dollar sign. If it weren't for the part of the food tasting halfway decent I would have asked for a refund.
This is my first experience at Long Johns and I do not expecet...

Pros: They did not argue about refunding my money.
Cons: Unfit and unsafe place to eat,  needs major changes or just close it down.

When Long Johns started out, they had wonderful fish and generous servings for the money.   Thought I would try it again last night.   Went to one on West Colfax in Lakewood, Colorado and it was so deplorable I had to ask for money back and go elsewhere.    Specific complaints: 
Condoment area was very dirty and had not been cleaned for some time. Napkin holders all empty.    Wife ordered their salmon dinner, only to find they had no forks to eat it with.   The whole place lacked any sense of cleanliness.   Kid from kitchen looked around but could not find any of the cheap plastic utensils that they usually furnish.   I could not envision eating the salmon and rice with fingers so finally just asked for money back and left.    Only thing good about the whole experience was they did not argue about the refund.   This place needs some serious new management, or just close it down.    Will also contact our city health department.

Cons: You'll need a Bayer so your arteries won't clog up.

I went to Long John Silver's a few days ago. The service was atrocious. I stood in front of the cash register for six minutes and no one took my order. When I finally ordered, they gave me fish instead of chicken, and refused to exchange it. It is also very greasy food.

Pros: Variety, Always hot and reasonably priced

 Even though they are mainly a seafood place, I love their chicken. So does my young son, he would rather have LJS chicken then McDonalds chicken nuggets. LJS chicken is hot, juicy and has no "hard bits" as my son calls them. Hey at least it looks like chicken compared to other places.
And to all those that say it's not clean, what do expect it's a fast food joint. In my teenage yrs I worked for a few fast food places and a few restraunts. None were that clean. If you want clean,cook in your own kitchen.

Here in California at least  their food quality is just horrible.. tried it after about 5 years of swearing never to eat there again.. but thought  maybe they had improved... ugghh  how are they in business out here?
