Peet's does beverages right! They do their tea the right way, offering lose leaf teas in an actual tea pot. They coffees are fresh, I heard that one Peet's does not keep the coffee beans longer than a week. They offer a great coffee shop environment with quality drinks that beats most other coffee places.

I am a coffee addict, and particularly recommended Peet's French Roast for people who enjoy a robust, strong, fresh from the earth cup of coffee. The Peet's Restaurant Company has exclusive taste, and will offer tea, coffee, pastries, muffins, and hot cocoa for a nice discount price on a few. The staff is knowledgeable about coffee and the various Peet's Teas. I imagine more people are familiar with Peet's Coffee than their tea. Peets Coffee selections include: Breakfast Blend, Sumatra, House Blend, French Roast, Italian Roast, Colombian, and possibly other distinctive flavers such as Chestnut. However, you must be a heavy connoisseur of coffee to handle the overwhelmingly strong Sumatra or French Roast Blends. First time coffee drinkers should stick with House or Breakfast Blend. Their teas are not as wide a selection, and the ones served include Chamomile, Chai Masala, Green Tea, and some Black Teas. Or, if you detest coffee and tea, you can select more from Peet's Restaurant, as they offer muffins, bread, pastries, and other sweets. There is quite plenty to be enjoyed at Peet's. Definetely recommended.
