Pros: Rich & Decadent. Cons: Monthly detox is necessary.
Peet's (drip) Coffee is the best coffee I have ever had...especially their signature blends. The folks at Peet's mix their coffee's like wine makers mix their grapes. My favorite blends for every day drinking are House Blend, Blend 101, and Arabian...
Pros: Good variety. Nice selection on grinding Cons: Shipping. There is no next day air.
If you like coffee, you’ll love Peets! I like to think I am a coffee snob. I got hooked a years ago in Cleveland at an Arabica coffee house. Since, it’s been a wild ride.
I now order my coffee from two sources. Peets (http://www.peets.com)...
Pros: Excellent flavor and aroma Cons: Expensive, but worth it
I am truly a coffee addict. Each morning the ritual starts with feeding the cats, then getting my coffee started. I have a Mr. Coffee space saver type of coffee maker. I frequent a few freebie sites and heard that Peet's coffee was great. Well, they...
Burned Beans do not, and never will, yield a quality brew. I have paid Peet's numerous visits, only to be so disappointed, inevitably resulting in me tossing the cup. I have even ordered a Latte, thinking that the Milk would cut some of the unpleasant...
Pros: freshly roasted Cons: freshly roasted to long
I had received a pound of coffee from Peet's and I was excited because they claim that their coffee is freshly roasted so I was expecting a great tasting coffee. Even the bag the coffee beans came in was nice, a brown bag with a twisty tie to keep the...
Pros: Coffee is great Cons: Pastries bland, expensive
I used to get to work at 7:00 am. The only thing that was open at that time near work was Peets. I don't like to eat when I first got up, so I started falling into the habit of going to Peet's for coffee. By the time I got there, I was usually hungry,...
Pros: Wonderful, freshly roasted coffee Cons: Need more shops on the East Coast!
One of the things I look forward to every summer is my trip north from Florida to Cambridge, MA. The highlight of the week I spend at Harvard each year is heading over to Peets every chance I get (at least 3 times a day).
Pros: Great coffee Cons: Limited menu, coffee is often too dark
As the dark wood decor of Peet's suggests, Peet's is the place to go if you like dark coffee On the other hand, if you like your coffee lighter, you might want to look elsewhere.
Note: The difference between dark and light roast coffee is...
Peet's produces the finest coffee I have ever had. I have the good fortune of living footsteps from this fine establishment. To begin with, the whole affair is refreshingly honest and classy. Peet's is everything Starbucks wants to be. The employees...
Pros: The best beans in the business!! Cons: No East Coast locations (boo-hoo)
OK, I was a long-time disciple of the Starbucks blitz, received my shipments 2X/month delivered right to my door. I had decided ALL other coffee lacked in flavor and freshness. THEN along came this Berkeley bean and into the garbage went my S-bux...
Pros: quality drinks Cons: none! except the one near me closes too early
Peet's does beverages right! They do their tea the right way, offering lose leaf teas in an actual tea pot. They coffees are fresh, I heard that one Peet's does not keep the coffee beans longer than a week. They offer a great coffee shop environment with quality drinks that beats most other coffee places.
Pros: Various selection. Robust and flavorful blends. Cons: Their coffee can be extremely strong.
I am a coffee addict, and particularly recommended Peet's French Roast for people who enjoy a robust, strong, fresh from the earth cup of coffee. The Peet's Restaurant Company has exclusive taste, and will offer tea, coffee, pastries, muffins, and hot cocoa for a nice discount price on a few. The staff is knowledgeable about coffee and the various Peet's Teas. I imagine more people are familiar with Peet's Coffee than their tea. Peets Coffee selections include: Breakfast Blend, Sumatra, House Blend, French Roast, Italian Roast, Colombian, and possibly other distinctive flavers such as Chestnut. However, you must be a heavy connoisseur of coffee to handle the overwhelmingly strong Sumatra or French Roast Blends. First time coffee drinkers should stick with House or Breakfast Blend. Their teas are not as wide a selection, and the ones served include Chamomile, Chai Masala, Green Tea, and some Black Teas. Or, if you detest coffee and tea, you can select more from Peet's Restaurant, as they offer muffins, bread, pastries, and other sweets. There is quite plenty to be enjoyed at Peet's. Definetely recommended.
