Pros: Tradition, Game Atmosphere Cons: CROWDED, parking, end zone seats
You may or may not know that if you live in the state of Alabama, you have to answer THE question, "Who are you for?" Well, I am one of the few that doesn't answer Alabama or Auburn, and I AM talking football here. I answer Jacksonville State, the ...
Pros: good parking, friendly fans, good game atmosphere Cons: too much Bear Bryant
I have been to several games at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This field has been home to a number of epic struggles, none of which I was able to see. I went to see several games between Alabama and Southern Miss (all of which Southern...
Pros: Alabama plays there - beautiful stadium - great atmosphere(tailgating), friendly fans Cons: NONE
As a former student at the University of Alabama I must first let you all know that I bleed Crimson and White. SO knowing that, take all opinions listed here with a small grain of salt.
I have traveled to many of the stadiums in the SEC....
Pros: stadium beauty, spaciousness Cons: hard metal benches
Obviously, as a Bama student, I've been to a bunch of games at Bryant-Denny. Biased though I am, it's a great place to watch a game, with great fans, great tradition, great setting, and a great team (usually). The stadium feels very spacious because it...
Pros: Good food, good atmosphere Cons: Bleacher seating in some areas
There is an atmosphere in this stadium like no other. The fans are great and the camaraderie between the fans is great. It is usually packed with Alabama fans and not much of the other team. They are adding extra seating to this stadium this year which ...
Pros: History, usually a good game. Cons: Parking, fans, and traffic
Bryant Denny has a rich history of a once prominent football team. However over the years it has been tainted by corruptness and poor management. The stadium from an aesthetic side is average, the seating is average, the field at times can be nice others it is in poor shape. Parking and traffic is probably the worst in the SEC. Fans are mostly nice but there are two extremes, the redneck I never attended, but I'd die for "tha Bear" fan and the my momma and daddy have so much money they pay for any and everything I want fan. Overall experience would be a C+. The Paul "Bear" Bryant museum is a must see and Dreamland ribs is a must eat.
