Pros: Great atmosphere, exciting football, great view, nice stadium Cons: Cost of food, fans not always as enthusiastic as they should be
First of all, let me say that I have been a die-hard Panthers fan since Charlotte got the team on October 26, 1993...I didn't just jump on the bandwagon because we went to the Super Bowl this year. Okay, the stadium. It is now called Bank of America ...
Pros: Clean, comfy seats, easy to leave after the game. Cons: Food cost
When I attended Ericsson for the first time the thing that grabbed my attention in the beginning was the activity outside the stadium. People painting faces in Panther blue, throwing footballs through simulated NFL player's hands, answering trivia...
Pros: A beautiful stadium with no bad seats Cons: Not all fans involved in the game
I've been following the team that became the Carolina Panthers ever since the day that Jerry Richardson first announced on December 16, 1987 that he was going to try to get an NFL expansion team for the Carolinas. In 1993, the NFL awarded the...
Pros: THE MOST DETAILED STADIUM IN HISTORY Cons: GOOD LUCK ON GETTING A SEAT
I want to start off by giving THANKS to those who have again given me yet another moment of their time. I love American Football, just like most of my male homosapien counterparts. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard of news that Carolina won the...
I had the opportunity to attend all NFL games hosted at Ericsson Stadium in both 1998 and 1999. Upon my first visit, I shuddered with awe at the beauty this stadium holds!
When entering the stadium from any gate, you are greeted by two huge bronze...
Pros: Amenities Cons: too many suites, too little enthusiasm
This is one of the newest stadiums in the NFL so it's one of the "nicest". Nicest means it has the most stuff. There is a decent amount of food, bathrooms at every corner and plenty of luxury boxes so that corporations with too much money can give...
Pros: Great view from everywhere, quick entrance and exit from stadium Cons: parking
Fortunately I was in the Carolinas in 1995,when the Pathers had their inaugrural season and played in Clemson and again in 1996 when they first played at Ericsson Stadium at Charlotte.I was seated basicly everywhere on the upper and lower level,around...
Pros: There is not a bad seat in the house!! Great concessions!! Cons: Parking is somewhat of a hassle.
As a native Charlottean, I was ecstatic when we received an NFL team. I am a sports nut, and couldn't wait to see what Charlotte and the Carolinas could add to the world of football. It seemed like a million years for Ericsson Stadium to be built. In...
Pros: Roomy seats, parking, access to exit ramps Cons: Panthers are lousy
This is the nicest, most comfortable stadium I've ever been in - college or pro. The seats are large and comfortable, the amenities and exits are nearby, the parking is cheap and the fans act human. Charlotte police were everywhere directing traffic...
Pros: Clean, good views, nice place Cons: nonchalant fans
Even though Bank of America Stadium is a little old, it is still a nice place to go. Hopefully the Panthers can put a better product on the field in the next couple of years to offset the cost of going to an NFL game. Parking is pretty accessible ...
Pros: Good view, good food Cons: Wind towards the upper seats
I went to see my first Panther's home game against the Green Bay Packers for the Monday Night Football game. We scalped tickets when we got there and we were not disappointed. Our seats were around 30 dollars a ticket for face value and were very near...
Pros: Great Location! Tons of lodging within 1/4 mile! Cons: I couldn't find one bad thing!
If I was not such a die hard Cowboys fan, I would be a Panther! This has got to be the best looking, fan friendly, best layout stadium I have ever been to! The fans were great to us(my wife and I) even though we were in our Cowboy gear. And I love the...
Panthers Stadium pass or fail by rebekasman ,Nov 14 '06
Pros: accesible inside, lots of food choices, friendly staff Cons: expensive far away parking, traffic is awful to get away from the stadium
This is generally a good stadium to visit. Every seat in the place has a view good enough to pay for. I have sat down almost at field level in the middle, and in the nosebleed sections in the endzone and both places I could see everything. It is very handicap accesible and to get to the higher parts of the stadium they have very walker friendly ramps that go up gradually instead of stairs that tear up your knees or elevators you have to wait forever for.
Pros: Placement of stadium with relatively easy access to major Highways. Nice view from the seats. Cons: Cost of food, tickets, and parking.
Ericsson Stadium is one of the finest in the South. WE, as Carolinians, have very few sports teams to get excited about.
The stadium is located in downtown Charlotte, which at times can be a very scary endeavor in itself, but the placement of the stadium makes commutes onto the highways as easy as possible.
Although the prices for tickets (if found) are decent, the food prices are out the roof. I really enjoy the seating and the views, even from the 500 sections.
If given the chance to experience the CATS play at home it would be well worth the money. Just make sure to be full before you get there or bring a full wallet. However for your convenience and the stadiums gain, ATM's are very easily stationed in all areas of the stadium, and will gladly give you a receipt.
