Pros: Professional Football! A Lot of Seats! The Bengals Won!
    Cons: Too Commercial, Lacks Character

Summary: Growing up in Richmond, Virginia it seemed like everyone was a Redskins fan, but nobody ever got to go to the games because tickets were in such demand. I have always been a Bengals fan (stop laughing), but never got to see them growing up because there ... read more

Cons: Traffic, cannot ride the elevator, long bathroom waiting lines and fighting in the stands.

Summary: I am a die hard Redskins fan and Grew-up attending games at RFK Stadium which used to rock (literally). RFK was also on a subway line in Washington, DC - a key to this review. I am a long-time season ticked holder. FedEx Field is a pain to get ... read more

  • DAN SNYDER, PLEASE SELL THE TEAM!!!!!!

    Aug 2, 2005 by
    Rated a Helpful Review
Pros: Game is always sold out, so you dont have to worry about blackouts on TV.
Cons: $$$$$ Dan Snyder owns the team and stadium. Oh and $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Summary: Its not Dan Snyders fault they are in this stadium, but I wish he would just sell the team before he tarnishes it anymore than he has. With that said about Pretzel Boy, This Stadium is no RFK. Obviously one of the biggest Stadiums in the NFL and ... read more

    Cons: parking, ticket prices, jumbotron

Summary: As a diehard Skins fan and a privileged enough person to know someone that has season tickets, I have been to Fedex Field 5 or 6 times in the past 2-3 years. The stadium itself is huge (to make Danny lots of money!). I hate the fact that it was renamed ... read more

  • FEDEX Field -- A Pockmark in the City Formerly Known as Raljon

    Nov 17, 2003 by

Pros: Houses the current employer of Martin Chase; Used to have a Smootmobile parked outside.
Cons: Large and Unwieldy; Parking's abysmal and departure is poorly managed!

Summary: FEDEX field has slowly turned one of my favorite pastimes, going to Redskins games, into an almost weekly occurrence of arduous frustration. Let me share with you what my Sundays have become when there is a Redskins home game. First, I must let you ... read more

    Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros: big stadium, lots of fun
Cons: too much concrete, too open

Summary: FedEx Field is a state of the art stadium. It is a great place to watch a football game. Being a lifetime Redskin fan and living in the DC area, I've seen lots of change and all the ups and downs. The days of RFK stadium were classic: the close seats ... read more

Pros: Fun fans, easy to get into and around, Redskins band, lovely cheerleaders
    Cons: Expensive food, bad parking

  • FedEx Field lacks soul

    Jun 27, 2001 by
    Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros: Parking and traffic situations have improved
Cons: Overpriced and without a soul

Summary: For all its creakiness and lousy sight lines, RFK Stadium--the Redskins' former home--has it all over the new stadium (I guess not so new anymore) in terms of one of the key measures of any outdoor arena: How much does the environment contribute to a ... read more

    Pros: Bigger than RFK
    Cons: Far from better.

Summary: FedEx field...in thinking about it to write this review, I realized a lot of what is wrong with this place is symptomatic of what is wrong with pro sports in the US. I have only been to one game at FedEx, back when it was still named after Mr. Cooke ... read more

  • A Work In Progress

    Sep 13, 2000 by
    Rated a Very Helpful Review
    Pros: Modern, EXTREMELY clean, huge
    Cons: Huge

Summary: As a Redskins season ticket holder for many years (since 1952), FedEx Field is still very new to me. It is not and never will be as intimate or as passionate as RFK was - it's just too big. Our seats at RFK were in the 3rd row of the upper deck, and we ... read more

    Pros: modern facility
    Cons: not much charecter

Summary: It seems most Redskin fans long for the good old days of RFK stadium. I am not sure if it was a longing for Joe Gibbs and John Riggins, or for the quaintness and familiarity of the old place, but nevertheless RFK captured a moment in time for Redskins ... read more
