Pros: Great close stadium; big... can fit lots of people Cons: None I can see
Summary: I have been to this Stadium twice. The first time that I went I saw the Padres play the Mets. Also they were giving away Waves the Commemorative Beanie... so a lot of the reason why I went. Then the next time I went it was the night of the big ... read more

Pros: More seats, nice seating. Cons: Parking, company name (no longer Jack Murphy Stadium)
Summary: I have been to tons of Padres games and one football game at Qualcomm (aka The Murph).
I grew up in San Diego and we lived for 8 years near the Jack Murphy Stadium (now Qualcomm). I miss the Murph. I am glad that it got its upgrade to seat ... read more

Pros: just about everything Cons: basically none
Summary: Qualcomm Stadium is a great place to see a Football or Baseball game. Basically anywhere you sit you will see the whole field and have great seats. This is a beautiful stadium. The seats are not right on top of each other, so you will not be in the fat ... read more

Pros: accessible, patriotic Cons: lower level boxes are a little hard to get to.
Summary: The day I went one of the inter-inning events was a salute to the military. It wasn't any special day like Fourth of July or Memorial Day or anything, just an average day. But it was really moving to see the park give a standing ovation to the troops ... read more

Pros: Great seat prices Cons: High priced consessions
Summary: The stadium, the stadium. That's the hot topic around San Diego right now. This is supposed to be a review of Qualcomm stadium and I promise it will be but first just let me say that we don't need a new ball park that bad. Before the vote passed to build ... read more

Pros: Its clean, Its Fun Cons: Its Old
Summary: There is something special about Jack Murphy Stadium (I'm not even going to refer to it as Qualcomm). I've seen countless Padres games there, and every time I go I love it. Even when there were 7,000 people in the stands in 1993 when the Padres were in ... read more

Summary: When I visited San Diego this summer, my uncle decided to take me to the San Diego Padres game. At first it seemed a little unusual just to get up and go to a baseball game (I'm from Cleveland where our games have been all sold out for the past couple ... read more

Pros: Centrally located Cons: Paying for parking
Summary: What a great place to watch The Padres. Qualcomm Stadium previously Jack Murphy stadium. But, because Qualcomm has all the money, they get to take away the history in our city. The could of left the road's name the same, but Qualcomm took that too. ... read more

Pros: few rain outs Cons: multi-purpose field
Summary: I have witnessed the evolution of this stadium. I saw my first Padres game in 1976 at San Diego Stadium. This was back in the days when Dave Winfield had to hit the ball into the plaza to get a home run. I sat in the bleachers for $2.00 a game. I saw ... read more

Pros: Easy access and centrally located, large enough to accommodate the fans of San Diego! Cons: It's almost 35 years old and firesgar doesn't think it's pretty anymore.
Summary: Sorry that firesgar doesn't like our stadium, but he can go someplace else! I disagree with him completely. Like many other stadiums around the country, Qualcomm does have its good points and bad. The location of the stadium is centrally located in ... read more

Pros: easily accessible, good views, easy to move around inside Cons: Lines to long for restrooms, snuggle up if going to upper level.
Summary: Qualcomm stadium is, by far, one of the best sports venues that I have ever been to in my life. And believe me, I've been around. The stadium can very easily be accessed either in private or public transportation. The San Diego Trolley drops you off ... read more
