Pros: atmoshphere, man and women, da cubbies Cons: NONE AT ALL!!!!!!
What needs to be said? Wrigley is not only one of the oldest ball parks, it is by far the worlds finest example of what a baseball staduim should be. Wrigley doesn't need any high tech toys like the new modern hi-tech stadiums, becuase Wrigley has things...

Pros: Friendly Atmosphere, Cheap seats, Good Food. Cons: Poor Utilities, lots of drunks
If you have never been to The Friendly Confines of Wrigley Field, you are definitely missing out. You will never be able to find a more friendly place to see a sporting event. Wrigley Field and the Chicago Cubs exhibit everything that is good about...

Pros: Beauty, history, good times Cons: the losses
Wrigley field is one of the oldest ballparks in America, with some of the most interesting history.
Back in 1945, the last time the Cubs were in a World Series, "Billy Goat" Sianis, owner of the Billy Goat Tavern, got into a bit...

Pros: Get a tan, a buzz, and some entertainment...public transportation...beer! Cons: It's the last of its kind....awwwww!
Quite simply, Wrigley Field is the finest baseball park in America. Here on the eve of the closing of another great venue -- Tiger Stadium in Detroit, of ever honored memory -- I sit and reflect on the greatness of the Second City's neighborhood baseball...

Pros: Baseball's most beautiful field Cons: none
My first trip to Wrigley Field was one I would never forget. The activities around the stadium before a game make it exciting to be hours early. There is plenty of good parking all around the stadium, which makes any walk you have to make a memorable...

Pros: Great upkeep of the field Cons: The Cubs winning record-haha
Ah yes baseball season is approaching, and Wrigley is the "King of Fields." It's a great place to spend time with family and friends. Wrigley is one of Chicago's trademarks. It makes Chicago....well Chicago. Every time I've spent time in...

Pros: Everything Cons: Certain ushers
I have been to 25 Major League Stadiums including the news (the Jake, Camden, The Ballpark in Arlington, Safeco, and the BOB) and the olds(Fenway, Tiger, Dodger, Candlestick, and Yankee) so I consider myself somewhat of an expert.
I want you...

Pros: Historical, fun fans, fun team Cons: Not enclosed, dirty, difficult view in some areas, expensive parking
While in law school, I visited Wrigley Field many times, and saw many historical games. Especially ones involving Sammy Sosa and Kerry Wood.
If you want to have a real experience, you have to buy tickets through brokers. Do not settle for...

Pros: Great seating and atmosphere Cons: the ball team is not that great
The hot dogs at Wrigley's field are one of the best in the world. Each time I go I eat at least three or four. All the concession stands there are great. The seating is good. There is not one bad seat in the ball park. The field is very nice and is...

Ahhh...the friendly confines
by sfgiantsfan25 ,Nov 14 '04
Pros: It's WRIGLEY FIELD FOR CRIPES SAKE! Cons: gets pretty hot sometimes, stadium needs upgrades/repairs
Wrigley Field - I still get chills thinking about some of the days I sat in this classic ballpark. It really is legendary. The ivy is truely beautiful, the nearby rooftop bleacher clubs give the place an aura of friendliness.
She's kind of old and needs some fixing up but if you are a baseball fanatic like me GO JUST BECAUSE IT IS STILL THERE.
Although I'm sure all of North Chicago would RIOT if anyone tried to take down this legendary field. This is a Field of Dreams come true.

Hope the gum is better
by erch ,Aug 20 '05
Pros: They must have torn down something to build it. Cons: Too open, not an old time feel.
We visited Wrigley Field several years ago and were surprised by how sterile the place seemed. It did not have a nice quaint feel like Jacobs Field in Cleveland. It is a retro park that feels like you are in one of the old round multi-use stadiums, like Riverfront or Three Rivers. Busch Stadium is 30 years older but a better place to watch a game. Plus the area does not exactly make you feel like getting out after the game and going for a stroll.

Baseball The Way It Ought To Be
by forevrblu ,Jan 20 '05
Pros: Most games still played in daytime. Must see a day game for true Wrigley experience Cons: The bane of any old time stadium, pillars obstructing the view of the game
I took in a couple of games there in June against the rival Cardinals, both day games. There really is quite a buzz surrounding Wrigleyville. To truly get the Wrigley experience, you MUST attend a day game here, baseball the old-fashioned way, in the daytime, player intro music, no jumbotron, the sight of the brick covered ivy swaying with the wind, and oh yeah, the Wrigley tradition of throwing back visiting teams home runs also hold true for the good folks out at Waveland Avenue as well.

Wrigley has nice history, but lets down a little.
by rdmck6469 ,Aug 06 '05
Pros: History, vines, and bleacher folk. Cons: Seats that aren't in the bleachers, and the concourse.
Wrigley is a nice field, love the brick and the vines, and the bleacher folk are a lot of fun. Unless you are buying beer, though, the vendors don't come around much, and many of the seats aren't so great for seeing a game.

Your Mastercard Commercial should END here!
by pelican33 ,Jan 31 '04
Pros: Bleachers are the absolute best! The fans are great! Cons: Win a pennant for crying out loud!
So you're planning your own version of a Mastercard commercial, huh? Well, end it with Wrigley! That's right, end it at the Friendly Confines. Why? Because its the best and if you start here, no other stadium will compare. I've been to Fenway (second best baseball experience ever, just behind Wrigley), Yankee Stadium (highly overrated), Comiskey (U-G-L-Y, you don't need no aliby...), Comerica (great park, bad team), Dodger (tight seating), Angel Stadium (maybe the best of the "new/redesigned" parks - haven't been to PacBell), etc. No park can compare to Wrigley. The fans are there to have fun, especially in the bleachers. The area around the park is a ton of fun as well. Go to Wrigley, bring your sunblock, and be ready to drink lots of brew.... then hit the Cubbie Bear afterwards. Great place!
