Pros: Nicktoons are different than most 'toons, strong pre-school shows Short commercials for some shows Cons: Not that much action oriented shows, live-action shows sub-par, too many Nicktoons
...I've been watching Nick since the mid-80's, and it has changed for a new generation. For the most part, Nick tends to cater their audience to the 2-11 demographic. Still, for those teens and adults that want to wisk away from the brutal real world,...

Pros: mostly great shows Cons: no Wonder Years anymore
Nickelodeon is great for children in the daytime, but this same channel magically turns into classic television at 8 o'clock, 7 central. The greatest shows of all time are played. Some of my favorites are The Andy Griffeth Show, I Love Lucy, Happy...

Pros: Was great when I was a kid. Cons: I haven't watched it recently.
When I was in elementary school, we got our first cable box. Nickelodeon was really the only network geared specifically towards kids, so I naturally gravitated toward that as my favorite programming. There were a lot of great programs.

Pros: There are still some good shows on but... Cons: difficult to find the really good shows
I remember when I was a kid, my cable station blocked out Nick at Nite. Sometimes at 8:00 sometimes at 8:15 we never knew. It was like a game, to me, to see how much of 'The Donna Reed Show' I would get to watch. Then one day, oh joy, 'Donna Reed'...

Pros: Reruns of old comedies that are not anti-family Cons: Anti Adult , Anti Parenting cartoons, and skits.
As many parents I welcomed the Nickelodeon channel when it came out, and I thought that MOST of the programming was appropriate for kids. It gave children the feeling that they had their own channel that addressed their own needs. Adults were not even...

Pros: not all then nick toons reek, there nick jr is ok, Nick at night has some of the best classic tv shows Cons: there getting to the point that all they show is nick toons, all the other shows like sitcomes and etc are becoming very boring.
I used to watch Nickelodeon everyday when I was young, they had Heathcliff, Yogi, Inspector gadget and plenty of other great cartoon shows. Along with shows like Lassie, the old black and white versions of Dennis the menace, and flipper. Now it seems...

Pros: Great Nostalgic Late Night TV Cons: Overexposed with Marathons, One Show Nights and Poor Segues
Nickelodeon, based right here on my turf, captured the audience of yesterday with it's nostalgic "Nick at Nite." Adults everywhere, although irreverent about admitting it, woke with the yawns and stretches that symbolize the lot of the...

Pros: Excellent show like Kablam!, Rocko Cons: Showing its age, Excellent shows are hardly seen anymore
I used to love Nickelodeon as a little kid. Rugrats, Doug, and Ren and Stimpy were all very entertaining for me. There were also lots of wacky game shows I loved to watch, from Double Dare to Wild and Crazy Kids. However, when I look at the stuff...

Pros: Very Colorful and Original Programs Cons: Not always Age Appropriate
I think that Nickelodeon is an excellent channel for children 3 and up. I have a one year old and I like to see her viewing more interactive shows like Zaboomafoo or Barney (PBS). Don't get me wrong, Nickelodeon has very entertaining programs...some of...

Coming from a teenager, Yes I do still watch Nickalodeon. I enjoy some of the shows that are on it. But some of the shows are really dumb. I cant beleive they got rid of Clarissa explains it all and Guts. Those were the best shows on Nick. Now the have...

Pros: original programming, good stuff for toddlers Cons: toilet humor, programs lacking intelligence
There are some good things about this television station. The early morning weekday segment called "Nick Jr" is great for the little ones, offering educational and entertaining programs such as Blue's clues, Franklin, Little Bear and so forth....

Pros: Some good programming and creative projects Cons: Lots of reruns and some offensive programs
Nickelodeon is best known for its childrens' programming, but with the classic television of Nick @ Nite, kids aren't all that this channel will appeal to.
Nick has something for everybody, from the pre-schooler to adults of the Lucy &...

Pros: No XXX-Rated Shows Cons: Lots of Peer Pressure
Nickelodeon is an awesome channel for kids.
Saturday night is really geared to those older bunches of kids like myself.
Ok, “listen up” this is no Christian channel and that is for sure, but how many have looked at MTV lately! Wow....
