Pros: Some holiday specials are really cute and enjoyable. Cons: Most shows are overrated and repetative.
No, it's not one of the old movie theatres that charge a nickel to get in. It's actually a children's channel that has many popular shows. I will be telling about the shows, Nickelodeon movies, and even a tidbit about Nickelodeon Magazine. Firstly,...

Pros: Nick Jr. is great for the little ones. Cons: Not impressed by their school-aged programming AT ALL.
When I was on maternity leave after giving birth to my first son, I used to tune into Nickelodeon during the mornings as a respite to the otherwise mind numbing selection of talk shows and soaps.
I quickly fell in love with their daytime Nick Jr....

After a year of watching PBS, we got cable (I know we were in the “dark ages”)! And switched to Nickelodeon. Boy, was I surprised at the wide variety of programs on there!
We don’t watch the shows targeted at older child, as my oldest is...

My husband does not go a night without Nick at Nite on and the kids pretty much run the station whenever they are home. My daughter loves Little Bear and Blues Clues. They both love Rugrats (I kinda like them too). There are just so many shows on this...

Pros: great programming for all ages. Cons: The younger kids may not get the "older shows" they show in the afternoon
Nickelodeon is a wonderful station full of programming for young and young at heart.

Pros: Nick At Nite, some ok shows Cons: most of the shows are terrible
Ahhhh, Nickelodeon used to be my all-time favorite channel. The shows were funny, original, and as I would have put it, "totally cool." But then it made a very bad move.
Recently, I was channel surfing. With nothing else to do, I...
