Pros: not all then nick toons reek, there nick jr is ok, Nick at night has some of the best classic tv shows Cons: there getting to the point that all they show is nick toons, all the other shows like sitcomes and etc are becoming very boring.
I used to watch Nickelodeon everyday when I was young, they had Heathcliff, Yogi, Inspector gadget and plenty of other great cartoon shows. Along with shows like Lassie, the old black and white versions of Dennis the menace, and flipper. Now it seems...

Pros: Ok shows. Cons: Second rate shows.
I remember when I watched Nick, I thought the programs were good, but now all they are all dumb, pointless twenty minute shows. All of the cartoons are all second rate drawings and the things they say are all corney. Its like they have run out of things...

Pros: Nick Jr. still creative, occasional re-runs Cons: Cliché Programming, other stations catching up with Nick
Back when the station was launched, Nickelodeon had some of the most creative and original (high quality I may add) of any station at the time. Cartoons like Ren and Stimpy, which tested just how far a cartoon would go, and Pete and Pete, which was one...

Pros: Nick at Nite Cons: it doesn't start earlier in the evening
I have been watching Nickelodeon since I was a kid. My personal favorite show used to be "You Can't Do That On Television" where they would slime people whenever they said "I don't know". I couldn't miss that show for the world. (It's...

Pros: Great G and Y-rated TV for the kids Cons: Ads, commercialized
My kids absolutely LOVE Nick Jr's Monday through Friday morning line up. We start off with Little Bear or Little Bill at 9 and go straight through until Blue's Clues at 1, which sadly for my son, is his napping time.
I love the idea of...

Pros: broken down into kids and toddler shows Cons: Evening shows a little slow
My son absolutly loves Nick JR! He turns it on as soon as he gets up and it is on until mommy's soaps come on. As a 3 year old, it is geared to his age group. His favorite Nick JR shows are Blues Clues and Franklin.
It is less stress on me to...

Pros: Great programming for children of all ages. Cons: None
Nickelodeon is Godsend! Not only did I as a child enjoy watching Nickelodeon, but still do. My 2 and 4 year old love it and watch it on a daily basis. During the daytime, Nick Jr., hosted by Face (A full screen smiley face) brightens the day of...

Pros: Wonder Years, MTM, Bob Newhart Cons: Partridge Family, Brady Bunch
First off, I know Nick is bipolar, so I want to make it clear that I’m reviewing Nick-at-Nite here. I don’t watch the channel’s children’s programming; I don’t even really know what they show anymore. No, what I want to talk about are the reruns....

Pros: Excellent preschool programming,Nick at Night's I Love Lucy Cons: Preteen programming is a bit too adult
Nickelodeon is all of my kids favorite channel, we usually watch 2-3 shows a day, Franklin is a must, and Blue's Clues we can't live without. My 3 year old will begin to interract with Blue usually after Wednesday, because they repeat the same show, for...

Pros: Good, clean show that you can let your kids watch without worry Cons: some of the other programming is boring
I have a preschool aged daughter, so I am quite familiar with Nick Jr. I truly love their lineup. Even more than PBS's kids line up. Little Bear, Blues Clues, Maisy, Kipper, Franklin, and now, Shining Time Station are wonderful programs! I like the...

Pros: you can still find children's shows Cons: bad programming
I grew up in the formative years of Nickelodeon. When I was 5, my favorite shows were Pinwheel, Today's Special, and the Monkees. All of these were on Nickelodeon. Their shows then stressed imagination and education. I sung along with the Picture...

Pros: Great for kids! Cons: Not ALWAYS the best.
Nickelodeon otherwise known as Nick is a great network for kids. They have cartoons, movies, and no violence. All little kids and even some older kids LOVE Nick. One show that I personally like on Nickelodeon is Rugrats. Even though kids should not...

Pros: Kid-friendly, adult-friendly, get to see old shows no other station airs Cons: repeats every month or so
I grew up on Nickelodeon. I mean, this was way before Eureka's Castle, Little Bear, and Blue's Clues. This was when Mr. Wizard, Pinwheel, and even Fraggle Rock was shown. I loved watching it. When I was younger, I didn't even know other programming...

Pros: Wide variety of fun for all ages! Cons: I have not found any yet!
Well what can I say about "Nick"! I would prefer that my children read books, play games or get interested in music, but since that is not the way it goes in my home, I guess my children watching "Nick" is a close running. ...
