BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES
by sam88 ,Sep 04 '07
Pros: NONE - I can't say one good thing about QVC. Cons: Can't trust what they tell you. Completely incompetent.
I have been told by QVC customer service reps and supervisors that my money would be refunded 3 times now! Each time I wait the 48-72 hours and the money is not refunded to my account. I was told two times that there was an error and that they are "sorry".
Be very careful doing business with QVC. I searched online and found many complaints of people not receiving a refund. In my case I cancelled the order 2 days after I had ordered it. I never even received any merchandise!
My money has been tied up for over 2 weeks now. I was assured by two supervisors that my money would be back in the account - then I had to waste my time once again contacting them because it never appeared.
I have spent nearly 3 hours trying to resolve a very simple issue. I am drained and my whole experience has been a complete NIGHTMARE!

QVC IS THE WORST
by rupertpupkin ,Jul 14 '05
Pros: none! Cons: stated in the review... JUST STAY AWAY FROM QVC!!!
If you don't care when you're item arrives and you have ALL the time in the world to keep waiting; this is the place for you! I had the worst experience with qvc. They kept telling me that my order was coming and it wasn't even shipped because of a problem they had on THEIR end... BUT EVERY day I called, and everyday they NEVER noticed the problem and just kept telling me the item would arrive the next day. Also, DON"T BELIEVE the website "status" of your order because they don't update the site since the "vendor doesn't give them updates in a timely fashion". What's the point in having the status listed if the info. is incorrect? Don't ask QVC because all they will tell you is "that's how they do it so..." I will NEVER order from QVC again and if I can save even just a few people out there from going through the misery that I went through, then this review served it's purpose!

QVC processes returns very, very slowly
by jacqstr ,Sep 17 '05
Pros: They do ship new orders relatively quickly, a lot of the time Cons: High shipping costs, slow return processing, customer service answers appear to be scripted
I've been a customer of QVC for around 8-9 years, and my experience with their customer service department isn't great when their is a problem (they're ok when it's not a problem). Example, I returned something about three weeks ago, all they keep saying is wait, wait, wait. Now, all they can say is to contact my shipper. I did, and UPS delivered it the next day (even though I shipped it regular ground). They won't even accept the on-line proof of delivery from UPS, they want it by mail. Since this happens every time I return something (which isn't often), I'm wondering if they purposely give customers the run-around in order to keep the money longer, or maybe there's a law stating a company must process a return within a certain amount of days and they just can't be bothered? Their service has definitely been declining over the years.

charge tax on S&H???
by opinionreview ,Jul 18 '05
Pros: Products are great Cons: Shipping and Handling TOOOOOOO HIGH!!!
I don't understand why QVC figures the tax the way they do? They add the product total to the Shipping and Handling and finally the tax. This means that not only are we paying TOOOOOO MUCH shipping & handling, but we have to pay tax on S&H.
You would think they would add the tax to the product total and then add in the S&H. Doesn't make since to me!!!!!
Other than this issue, everything else is excellent!
