Pros: New planes, comfortable colors and great entertainment Cons: Food and service not up to expectations for a top airline
You must think I'm a lunatic to not rate my national airline full marks. Well not really, Singapore ...

Pros: Punctuality,Hygeine, Service, Safety, Luggage handling all of the highest standards. Cons: Sometimes expensive compared to other Star Alliance Partners
I was booked to travel on the sector Frankfurt to Jakarta on Lufthansa (LH). What seemed initially to be unfortunate but now fortunate, I was offered to take the Singapore Airline (SQ) to Singapore and then a connecting SQ flight to Jakarta, as I missed ...

Pros: business class Cons: service, respect, friendliness
As a frequent traveller for work and personal reasons, I have to fly quite a bit. I have lived in Singapore for over 6 years, so a lot of the time that has been on Singapore Airlines (SIA), both in business class and on economy. Early on, I could not ...

Pros: As always terrific air crew, product enhancements Cons: Lack of the wow factor with new product
At the moment, Singapore Airlines has the B747-400, featuring KrisWorld on Demand, the Raffles Class Space Bed and First Class. Then they introduced the B777 product in the late 90s, and economy class gets a much better In-flight Entertainment ...

Pros: The service is super good. Cons: Cannot think of one
I travelled a lot but I have never really heard about Singapore Airline before. Before I came to the states, because it was the peak season, I couldn’t be able to buy the tickets from the highly favorites like Pacific Cathy. One of my friends recommended ...

Pros: The very comfortable seats and entertainment system. Cons: The high cost of Raffles class.
With 400,000 FF points to burn I took my wife on a once in a lifetime trip from Brisbane (Australia) to Paris flying Business (Raffles) class on Singapore Airlines. This is a very long journey of around 24 hours flying time so it is important to be...

Pros: good network, attractive crew, Star Alliance membership Cons: bad food, poor service, blatant discrimination, customer unfriendly policies, unhelpful customer service representatives
Nobody at Singapore Airlines (SIA) has ever explained what their bird design is supposed to represent. Let me offer my explanation: a great big goose.
Everyone I've talked to always raves about SIA's service, and I've never seen why. I've...

Pros: excellent inflight service + entertainment, young fleet, marvellous in-flight cuisine Cons: steep costs
I have flown Singapore Airlines pretty frequently on a wide variety of its routes ever since the late 80s when SIA was still operating B757s and A300s on its short-haul services. For regional routes, I have personally flown on its Osaka, Hong Kong,...

Pros: Top notch service, comfort, palatable meals and entertainment, taking flight in all reassurances and security. Cons: My mom has only lost her baggage once, but SIA reimbursed her. Very minor glitches.
700km into the end my flight, 15,000 feet up in air and I'm still absorbed in the Inflight-Entertainment.
Being an Overseas student has some perks, one of them being pampered by the service and security of your flight home each...

Pros: Online check-in, new-ish planes Cons: Cramped seating, unfriendly service
I travel for work quite a lot, and mostly around the Asian region. I am based in Singapore, so a lot of this travel is 5 hours or less, which means it falls under our company's travel policy allowing me to upgrade to Business Class. For the price of ...

Pros: Service above average Cons: Terrible Food and uncomfortable seats
I'm sure all of you guys will think I'm crazy to rate SQ this low, but I flew the first time on SQ First Class last month, and I am EXTREMELY disappointed. Maybe it's all the hype about how nice it is supposed to be, so I had really high expectations in...

Pros: the in-flight service is great Cons: but the food service needs improvement
I want to start by saying that I don't fly often, but I do fly four or five times a year. I took a Singapore Airlines flight from Singapore to Bangkok and back in August 2000. What I remember disliking about the flight more than anything was the food...

Pros: Efficient service, inflight entertainment, seat comfort, decent food, great hub at Changi, Star Alliance Cons: slightly more costly, possible complacency on their image, frequent flyer program not that responsive
It's probably appropriate as a reader with the name of SQ's inflight magazine to comment. I've flown quite a bit with them while stationed in Asia for several years, and also now (in California) I've had the opportunity to fly their longhaul non-stop...

Pros: Flying first class is like being "King" and "Queen" for the day. Cons: The 23 hour trip was too short!
We just got back from our wonderful 2 week honeymoon to Bali flying Singapore Airlines. Since this was a special occasion, we decided to splurge and pay for 2 tickets labeled Singapore First Class. Believe me, from the moment you receive those tickets,...

Pros: Network, latest jets, attentive service Cons: Expensive, very strict rules, mileage plan
Singapore Airlines is an airline that sells sex, and does it well obviously, as it seems to always top every travel survey that has been published in the last 10 years.
Now that I have flown with them a few times, both in economy and their Raffles...
