Pros: Extraordinary service. Loved the personal television set and the ample leg room I found in coach. Cons: No complaints here.
Singapore Airlines is a wonderful find amid all the companies that serve the New York-European routes. I flew Singapore knowing full well of their topnotch reputation and when I was able to find a great deal on a roundtrip New York to Frankfurt, I...

Pros: Wonderful in-flight service, more comfortable than most airplanes, great in-flight entertainment. Cons: the cabin got quite warm during my flight.
Recently I took an international flight from Newark, New Jersey to Amsterdam. I have flown this route many times before and was not looking forward to the actual traveling time at all. I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and service that I...

Pros: Great service, Comfortable plane, Nice extra features... Cons: Not the cheapest around. Usually a couple hundred of bucks pricier than Northwest.
I flew with Singapore Airlines a couple of times. I am an international student in the US and I fly over the Pacific Ocean quite often. Most of the times I go with Northwest because well, they're the cheapest most of the times.
The service on...

December 1999 was a month never to be forgotten it was the first time I traveled around the world and Singapore Airlines was the best part of the experience.

Pros: THE FINEST AND MOST COURTEOUS SERVICE IN THE SKIES!! Cons: You always regret flying with another airline.
I've flown all over the world, sometimes alone, sometimes on business but most often with my family. In fact for the last 22 years we've traveled Singapore Airlines with our three kids en route to Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia etc. We always...

Pros: Excellent service, food, seats Cons: Not such an extensive network in the Americas and Europe
I recently flew Singapore in business (Raffles) class on a short overnight flight (6 hours). Because it was at an odd time (departed 11 pm, arrived 6 am), I didn't have full dinner, only breakfast. Based on what I have read, I really missed out by not...

Pros: World class value and entertainment Cons: Often we must transit in Singapore
Becoming an international student in one of Australian University, I often use this airline as my first choice to fly me back to my home country. Offering a great and warm Asian service at a great price is just one of many reasons that would take...

Pros: Comfort, Service, Entertainment, Amenities Cons: Minor Grips
To describe flying to Singapore as fun would be a lie. But if you have to do it (and Singapore is such a great place, it's worth the trip), fly Singapore Airlines.
From the second you get on the plane, you'll be impressed. Every seat (keep in...

Pros: Great service, nice products, young fleets, Star Alliance membership, PPS Club, among others. Cons: Ordinary food, lack of response from Customer Service on SIA website.
As a frequent traveller on Singapore Airlines, I have flown plenty of times on Singapore Airlines' First, Business, and Economy Classes.
Singapore Airlines (SIA) truly lives up to its reputation of excellent service almost every time I fly...

Pros: Great food, entertainment, service, ontime take-off and arrival, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc,!!! Cons: my testy tummy!
Having traveled around the world several times and experimented with various airlines in the process, I can truly say that Singapore Airlines was my very best experience, in spite of the fact I was sick the entire trip from having stood outside in the...

Pros: Lots of hospitable help and service for mom with three kids. Cons: NONE
I was flying from San Francisco to South Korea to join my husband who is in the military. We had to pay for it ourselves, and I was traveling with three children (1 baby, 1 toddler) and Singapore Air gave us just what we needed to survive this long...

Pros: Excellent lounges, wonderful service, cappuccino on board Cons: Ultimo seats don't go flat
I haven't found Singaporeboy's complaints to be true.
I have flown several segments on SIA on non-revenue tickets and they treated me the same as every other passenger, and I was allowed to use the lounge in every airport without question....

Pros: Extremely comfortable, good entertainment system, great service, clean bathrooms, smooth ride Cons: Wished I could've stayed on board longer!
One of my first experiences on Singapore Airlines came on the non-stop flight from L.A. to Singapore this past June. If not still, it was at one time the longest non-stop flight in the world at just under 18 hours. The bottom line is that it was the ...

Pros: Extremely clean planes, great service, super comfort in flight. Cons: None.
Flying to INDIA on Singapore Airlines was a pleasurable experience. I must admit, I was cautious and worried at first. Some international flights have been known to be horrendous, long waits and whatnot. This flight was not.
Airline...

Pros: Great service, food, customer service on long international flights. Cons: Costs more than other airlines, not worth the extra expense for short flights.
Singapore Airlines is the number one international airline in the world for good reason. Everything from purchasing tickets, customer service, check-in, and the actual flight is better than any other airline I've traveled on. I have purchased 3 ...
