Pros: polite service; timely; comfortable; great food! Cons: It was difficult to communicate with the attendants because I didn't speak French and they didn't speak English very well. Movie selection wasn't too great.
If there is anything to be said about a plane trip that lasts for more hours than can be counted on the fingers of two hands, it is definitely agony. That is, unless you happen to be so fortunate as to be aboard an AIR FRANCE flight.
Pros: Food and beverages - business class Cons: None to note
What an outstanding operation !
Being a flight attendant, I have not only the opportunity to make airline experiences pleasurable, but I can also live them on a normal basis during my non-revenue travels. I've recently began a relationship...
Pros: Fast, Friendly, French! Cons: Less than ample leg room
Traveling with a large family group (10 people) from Atlanta to CDG Airport on Air France was both enjoyable and memorable. Our family, including three teens found Air France a comfortable and friendly experience. Upon boarding, one is immediately...
As a study abroad student this past year in Lille France, I was given the opportunity to take a two week trip to Kiev, Ukraine. Air France was my budget choice for the trip and turned out to be by far the best! First I'll describe my trip, and then the...

My recent trip to Poland and Germany was taken with Delta and Air France. Our tickets were with Delta, but the flight from Paris to Warsaw and the entire return journey from Berlin to Washington were on Air France. This often ...
Pros: Wonderful food, helpful attendants, very positive impression in short flight within Europe Cons: Small planes for short flights
I recently (July 2002) flew Air France, operated by Grandalf Airlines from Milan to Paris and back. The flight was about 1.5 -2 hours long. These were small planes (I think the brazilian ones) with large leather seats, two on each side of the aisle on...
As a New Yorker living in Paris, France, I am most likely to fly Air France when coming home to visit family and friends. In the past 11 years living abroad I have seen an incredible improvement in Air France's service and comfort.
Pros: Courteous, Friendly, Punctual, EXCELLENT AIRLINE. Cons: Its a long flight, but then again I did fly from SF to PARIS nonstop.
As a UCBerkeley college student traveling to France for a trip in early January, I expected a long, tiresome flight. To my surprise, it was the exact opposite. I can honestly say my flights (from San Francisco to Paris, and from Paris to New York) on Air...
Pros: Friendly, efficient staff, even under pressure. Cons: They did lose luggage and tried to involuntarily bump us from our flight.
A few years ago, I visited France for 3 months, through a program sponsored by Texas A&M University and the University of Montpelier. This was my first opportunity to fly on Air France. I've flown to France before, but my previous flight was on...
Pros: Professional service, Good Planes, Ease of Use Cons: Business class can be expensive, Long waits to board
I take Air France for two trips each year, going from Boston to Paris CDG. Being blessed (or cursed, depending on how you look at it) with a family member who essentially flies Delta for a living, we are able to fly free in Business Class almost every ...
Pros: Smooth, efficient, elegant flying at an excellent price with pre-tastes of French cuisine. Cons: On a French plane, you may expect bad reactions if you disrespect French culture.
Looking over my fellow critics' opinions of AIR FRANCE, I was surprised by the number of veteran travelers who put the airline down because a bag was lost at the airport, or on one of nine flights with the line, a person died (inconveniencing the...
Pros: Friendly, accommodating (within reason), entertainment, decent food. Cons: Transfer time less than one hour not recommended.
My husband and I booked a trip to Italy on AirFrance coach through Travelocity (DIA-ATL-CDG-FLR). The partners were Delta, and City Jet. I was pleased with the price. Soon after I bought the tickets I found a multitude of negative reviews about Air ...
Pros: food, liberal upgrades Cons: fashionably late, their hub

Pros: Great service, good network, best FFP Cons: strikes
This is Air France's motto. And they do it.
