Pros: Great food, good price, good range of destinations Cons: Lost baggage, odd movie choice
I've taken six flights (i.e. three return flights) on Air France in the past two years, and they've failed to deliver my luggage on five of those occasions. The big problem appears to be changing flights in Paris. Even a two (or one occasion three)...

Pros: food and comfortable seats Cons: incompetency in transfer flights, apathetic attitude, lack of accountability for lost baggage
I consider myself a seasoned traveller with a lot of patience, but AirFrance really pushed me over the edge with their unmatched apathy & inefficiency. On what was supposed to be a simple flight from Rome to Philadelphia (with an hour layover in Paris), ...

Pros: cheap ticket Cons: every aspect of their service was awful
The title of this opinion pretty much represents the extent of my knowledge of French, so it's appropriate that I apply it to Air France, who gave me a horrible, dreadful flight between Paris and New York.
From check-in, I found the staff rude...

Pros: Awesome crew, wine, veggie food Cons: smoking on some flights allowed in certain areas of the craft
Hi
We air travellers really don't know how bad the usual levels of service are till we experience a good one. The flight from Paris to Mumbai was an amazing experience. I have a feeling that people are moved to write on epinions only if they...

Pros: Extensive schedule, SkyTeam Alliance with Delta Cons: Business Class not very comfortable, Non-French speakers beware, CDG is horrible
I travel alot, mostly within Europe. So far I have been able to avoid Air France but a few weeks ago my schedule dictated I fly AF three times. Twice within Europe and once across the pond. I was not impressed.
To begin with Charles De Gaulle...

Pros: Three Beers.... Cons: Lost Luggage, High phone bills from calling the world to find out information
After recently returning from a trip home to Northern Ireland, I had that awful experience we all hate of turning up at the luggage collection to find your bag has not arrived. After the usual bureaucracy handing over my details, I hoped my luggage...

Pros: Poor service, visible discrimination, poor luggage handling, poor flight transfer, worse experience ever. Cons: None
I flew from Toronto to Barcelona to catch a boat cruise and Air France messed up my trip, ...lets cut to the chase, here is the bottom line:
Flight times - Delays to and from Barcelona, and I missed both connecting flights, no help was...

Pros: Cheap tickets Cons: Bad Service, High chance of loss of your baggage, Company don't care about customers, In case of a complain no further contact information provided
When I moved to the States a few months ago, I unfortunately booked a flight with Air France because the ticket was much cheaper than for other airlines.
The service on board was poor (only four English Newspapers for all passengers) and the...

Pros: Great service, good network, best FFP Cons: strikes
This is Air France's motto. And they do it.
Air France is a great airline with superb service. I have flown with them for the past 3 years between Johannesburg and New-York via Paris and have found that the staff in all 3 locations are...

Pros: Standard in-flight service Cons: Be prepared for a day without your luggage
Of the 4 times I've flown Air France on business, my luggage has been delayed 3 times. The in-flight service in the business cabin is pretty good: the usual gourmet food, drinks, etc. But hold on to your luggage!
My first trip on Air France...

Pros: Service, horrible competition Cons: price
As a study abroad student this past year in Lille France, I was given the opportunity to take a two week trip to Kiev, Ukraine. Air France was my budget choice for the trip and turned out to be by far the best! First I'll describe my trip, and then the...

Pros: good food Cons: absurd rest room policies
Last summer my family and I flew to Paris from Chicago on Air France.
The food was excellent and most of the flight crew was pleasant. After four hours on the plane my granddaughter had to use the restroom. There was a line of about four...

Pros: Courteous, Friendly, Punctual, EXCELLENT AIRLINE. Cons: Its a long flight, but then again I did fly from SF to PARIS nonstop.
As a UCBerkeley college student traveling to France for a trip in early January, I expected a long, tiresome flight. To my surprise, it was the exact opposite. I can honestly say my flights (from San Francisco to Paris, and from Paris to New York) on Air...

Pros: terrific service, smooth flying, bilingual attendants, personal TV/Game Center Cons: none
Last February, my family and I planned out a week-long trip to France, and decided to fly Air France. Thank God we did, because it was a pleasure flying! First let me start by saying, that you pray that there is another American Airlines strike when you...

Pros: Friendly, efficient staff, even under pressure. Cons: They did lose luggage and tried to involuntarily bump us from our flight.
A few years ago, I visited France for 3 months, through a program sponsored by Texas A&M University and the University of Montpelier. This was my first opportunity to fly on Air France. I've flown to France before, but my previous flight was on...
