Pros: We got from London Heathrow to Madrid and back safely and on time. Cons: British Airways codeshare - and I'm sure that BA would have been somewhat better!
From my reasonably limited experience flying with Iberia, Spain's Flag-flying airline, which is limited to one return flight between London Heathrow (LHR) and Madrid Barajas (MAD), I actually have few complaints about this airline. I ...

Pros: They manage to feed you well, plenty of wine to put you to sleep Cons: Upgrades not easily obtained, ground assistance must be arranged well in advance
Against all advice, we decided to take a stupidly cheap ticket from Dulles Airport in Washington to Nice, via Madrid. I'm always up for flying an airline I haven't tried. Check-In- Dulles/Madrid We arrived half an hour before the counter ...

Pros: Courteous staff. Modern hub airport. Large network. Attractive fares. Cons: Bland to inedible food. A lost bag (but any airline can do that that).
WHY IBERIA?Certainly a logical choice for Spain and Latin America. Less obvious for Morocco (albeit the area around Tangier and Tetouan is more Spanish speaking than the rest of the country.) Or, if you like to gather miles in the One World ...

Pros: They actually get you to your destination Cons: The crews are disorganized, uncoordinated and ineffective. Iberia's website is not connected to Iberia.
The first time I flew Iberia, they lost my luggage. The second time, they forgot about my special meal request. Will there be a third time? - I don't know. Iberia is a leading Spanish airline, which provides well-priced trips all over the country, and ...

Pros: Generally cheap, excellent network, oneworld member Cons: less legroom, occasionally surly employees, can be a spanish operation
I'm spending the year in Madrid (a FANTASTIC city), and consequently have flown quite a bit on Iberia. I've flown in and out of Chicago, Amsterdam, London, and round trip to Miami. My experience with Iberia has been overall very pleasant, though not...

Pros: Relaxed attitude to check-in deadlines and ticketing restrictions, staff can be friendly Cons: Often late, painfully slow (and not free) food service, staff can be viiiiiiiile
My in-laws live near Malaga, so I go there. A lot. Possibly too much. So it goes without saying that I've have flown there with Iberia several times from London as well as to Valencia and Barcelona. Nothing defines the term 'mixed bag' like Iberia. ...

Pros: In flight service is at least acceptable. Cons: Unreliable, unfriendly staff (in Spain), unwilling to meet commitments.
My bad experience with Iberia was made all the worse because I flew them within Spain during my honeymoon there, with my new wife, who had never traveled abroad before. Actually, at first things were fine. We flew Continental to Madrid, and because...

Pros: Flight crew friendly, some flights better than others. Cons: Very very uncomfortable, seating-wise, plane in poor condition, rude customer service ground crew.
I laughed out loud when I learned this airline's slogan was "The most comfortable way to travel." I was very recently on a trip from Boston to Barcelona, round trip, with stop-overs in Madrid each way. Firstly, the advertised sale fares were impossible ...

I recently flew Iberia from Brussels-Barcelona. I frequently travel to Spain but this was the first time I had ever flown Iberia and I was very curious to see how their in-flight service was. Pre-flight: Iberia has an excellent web-site in both ...

Pros: Amazing business seats. Great food and wines. Always Clean. Punctual most of the time. Cons: Staff and attendants sometimes a bit harsh.
I have flown a lot in lots of companies (Iberia, Continental, Northwest, United, Air Canada, Westjet, KLM, British Airways and Air France). The ones I like the most are the European ones, and Iberia is one of my favorites (the other being KLM). I have ...

I have flown Iberia twice, both times in the past month from Barcelona to Geneva and vice versa. My complaint lies not with the actual flight that I took, which was brief, but not unpleasant. The flight consisted of an approximate two hour journey made...
