Pros: Good connections. Reliable Cons: Arrogant cabin crew!!
Emirates was amongst the first airlines to bring quality to Economy travel. Together with Virgin Atlantic they bought personal TV's to Economy, hot towels, ice cream snacks, amenity kit ( long since 'gone' ). However, although a frequent flyer and a...

Pros: They actually have spacious and comfortable seating. Cons: I couldn't afford to fly first class. :)
I have flown on many different airlines for many different lengths of time, so I feel that I have a good basis of comparison.
Anyway, I booked a flight on Air Emirates from London to Melbourne, not realizing at the time that I was literally going...

Pros: Comfortable Seats, excellent entertainment system. Cons: Limited service network (small airline), no links with global alliances.
I flew Emirates in economy class from Nairobi to Dubai, and then to Hong Kong via Bankok, in each case on one of their Boeing 777 aircraft. I had heard that Emirates was rated the #1 airline for 2000, and so I expected a lot.
On the whole,...

Except for Food and New/Sophisticated flights .. Customer service is really bad. My brand new laptop was stolen from my check-in baggage while traveling from PHL to MAA(India) in an Emirate's flight on Nov 28 to 30 , 2007. While i was carrying the ...

Pros: Service, Schedule, Entertainment, Staff, Price Cons: that not all airlines can be this good
I have travelled on at least 25 different carriers so far, the best and the worst. Everything from Gulf Air and United Airlines to British Airways and Air NZ. However, after flying with Emirates in February, my perception of air travel has been...

Pros: Modern fleet. Good service. Cons: No trans-Atlantic routes. Club class needs improvement.
I travelled Club class on a series of 4 flights to the Middle, and Far East over the Easter break. The flights were on time in all cases, and the quality of service on, and off the aircraft was of a high standard, and the lounges in the hub at Dubai are...

Pros: Dubai is nice place to visit. Cons: Use a major European Airline
I have been working out of the United Arab Emirates for over 10 years. During that time I have flown with Emirates Airlines many times. Usually from London to Dubai and back. Other times from Dubai to Saudi Arabia.

Pros: The quality of inflight services Cons: The mix ups by ground staff
Travelling with Emirates continuously for past few years. The changes that have come in the airline I have noticed more than infrequent flyers by the airline. Emirates have bagged most of the best airline awards in past few years. The aircraft’s are...

Pros: Excellent service, up-to-date equipment Cons: none
Emirates is one of the finest airlines in the world, without a doubt. As a very frequent traveler (over 400k miles / year) who does NOT work in the airline industry, I have an opportunity to try all the majors on a regular basis. I have never had...

Pros: Great in-flight entertainment, decent food Cons: Staff members are rude to Asians and Indians
I don't know why Emirates is well-regarded for providing excellent service. I received appalling service from several staff members based in Dubai who were from Middle Eastern backgrounds. The Asian staff members were much more polite and helpful. My ...

Pros: Seat, IFE Cons: Layover in Dubai--badly timed for connections to India
Recently flew Emirates' A340-500 non-stop from JFK to Dubai then onwards to Delhi. I'm a travel snob and generally don't like economy much on international trips, but I must say Emirates' economy on the JFK-DXB flight was the most comfortable economy ...
