Pros: Food, inflight entertainment, modern planes Cons: Frequent flyer programme is very poor - Emirates and Sri Lankan airlines only!
This is the second time i have flown emirates on their UK to Bangkok route. This time flying from Englands Second City Birmingham. Emirates have in excess of 15 flights per day from the UK to Dubai - they really are the epitomy of a feeder airline and ...

Pros: Good in flight entertainment (TV/Movie/Games/Music). Cons: Denied stolen items and would not compensate.
We flew Emirates from Jakarta to Amman August this year and had a surprisingly terrible experience. We had an overweight hand-wheeler that was taken at the gate. Upon arrival the lock of the baggage was opened and our video-cam and regular camera were...

Pros: Good Service, Good Food, Quick Check-in, Good equipment Cons: Business lounge.
When you fly from an airlines home airport, you expect services to be a little better than other airlines at the same airport. This was true when it came into checking in at the Emirates counter. There were many counters and a dedicated immigration...

Pros: Comfortable, Modern planes
Cons: Not enough routes
I flew Emirates from Hong Kong to Bangkok back in 2006. I can say without a doubt that it was the best short-haul flight that I've ever taken! Normally, I am a nervous flier, but I felt perfectly safe on their almost-new start of the art Boeing 777. I ...

Pros: food all right Cons: unreliable over booked flights &
rude and cheating crew
On my last trip to India from US, I have travelled on Emirates Airlines. I had purchased my tickets 4 months in advance. After going to India, I called them again to reconfirm the return flight date and times. My return flight scheduled departure ...

Pros: - Meals, customer service, seat (first), wine choices, Outstanding Inflight Entertainment Cons: - Absence of Lounge at Sydney and Bangkok, seat (business), cabin noise in first/business,
We flew recently from Sydney to Bangkok on Emirates First Class. On the return trip, however, we were unable to fly First and flew Business instead. First was an enjoyable experience, however at Sydney, Emirates called economy rows 45-60 or something ...

Pros: Great Service, Good Food, Dubai Airport is the BEST, Very Comfortable and good Entertainment Cons: Hold-Time to reach a Customer Service representative in the US is too long
After flying quite a few airlines in Asia, Europe and the US, I can definitely say that Emirates is the BEST. Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific are not very far behind though.
The Service is very good, Food is great and the Economy class...

Pros: reasonable amount of space... Cons: no guarantee of baggage remaining "SAFE"
My parents had an awful experience with Emirates airlines. They flew to London from New Delhi, India last year. Their baggage got lost at the London Gatwick airport never to be found again.
It was so disappointing that nothing was done about...

Pros: Narrower seats than competitors Cons: Time to improve
Emirates manages to place 10 seats across on it's Boeing 777's, whilst British Airways, United, Air France, Singapore Airlines etc place only 9 seats across ! This means that the Emirates seating is 10% narrower than others. Thai Airways also originally...

Pros: Seat back TVs Cons: Airline jams an extra seat in each row
It's true that Emirates won airline of the year 2000, but I very much doubt that the judges spent a lot of time in economy class.
Yes, the service is good and the seat back TVs certainly helps pass time, but Emirates is one of a number of...

Pros: Modern Fleet, Inflight entertainment. Good food and Wines Cons: Costly, Service is either brilliant or very poor. You'll compare everybody else to Emirates.
I have flown mainly from the UK to Dubai. KLM and Air France are cheaper but the inflight entertainment was very poor however Air France have recently introduced the A340 on the Paris to Dubai route which is as good as the Emirates planes and cheaper....

Pros: Arrived on time. Pleasant flight crew. Excellent service at Heathrow on departure. Interesting food. Cons: Bullying ground staff in Dubai. Long delays on ground for disabled passengers. Seriously damaged wheelchair.
I am disabled and travel with a wheelchair that has been modified to be electrically powered. I had no trouble getting this through LHR but I was left waiting about an hour for it to be delivered back to me in Dubai. On the return flight staff at ...
