Pros: The new, comfortable CRJ's and Q400's, Even snacks on all flights Cons: Timeliness
Horizon Air is a great regional airline who offers snacks and complimentary beverages, including beer and wine, on all of its flights. It is a privilege of the flying public to experience this Great Northwest airline who still offers the little things...

Pros: They shipped my dog from Washington to Nevada safely and for a reasonable price. Cons: They don't state their seat size or size policies clearly BEFORE you make a reservation.
I searched Alaska Airlines before I made a reservation on one of their Horizon Air planes to LAX. I could not find anything in the reservations or website regarding their policy on persons of size. So I made a reservation and they said the ticket was ...

Pros: New 737s are nice and clean, decent flight attendants. Cons: DISGUSTING old MD80 planes, dismal service from employees at LAX,
I will begin by saying that I have absolutely no expectations for customer service from airlines. As a 28 year veteran Captain for a major US carrier, I spend a huge amount of time in airports witnessing the borderline abuse that agents of my own ...

I flew Alaska airlines a couple of years ago. This is not somthing I would want to do again. We were flying from Seattle to Bellingham WA.
This plane scared me, it sounded as though the engine was going to quit.
The seat i had was up against...

Pros: Great Service Cons: Sometimes they have confusion in reservations.
I recently purchased a ticked from Anchorage to Chicago. I have the status of MVP Gold and was offered a free upgrade to First Class. I was told my ticket cost was $355.10. When I got my ticket I was charged $2700.00 Plus. It floored me because I...

Pros: Really nice flight staff Cons: Miserable ground staff
My wife and I were coming home from a Disneyland Vacation via Alaska Air. Our flight was non-stop from SNA (that’s John Wayne International orange counties airport) to PDX (Portland International). We arrived at the Airport on time. Just as we were ...

Pros: The coffee was ok. Cons: Everything
Left LAX for King Salmon Alaska Aug 9 2005 for a six week kayak trip. Upon arrival in King Salmon found the top to my barrel pack missing and a empty pack. Including, but not limited to, my Golite silicone Hex tent, North Face Down Bag, MSR filter and ...

Pros: Great people, especially Anchorage based folks, they try hard. Cons: Abysmal management, never on time in the State of Alaska.
If you do any flying via jet service in Alaska this is just about your only choice, and as a result you will pay astronomical fares, and suffer late if not cancelled jets. I do most of my flying in the Great State of Alaska and it's namesake airlines ...

Pros: Based in Portland and Seattle, nice Boeing 737 fleet Cons: Recent crash, MD-80s
If you are looking for a relaxed flight, at an affordable price, Alaska is your airline. With so many airlines based on the east coast, it is nice to have a west coast airline. The hubs of Portland and Seattle make traveling very convenient. I am sick of...

Pros: NONE--- Please reconsider flying with them Cons: SERVICE, FOLLOW THROUGH, LOST LUGGAGE, CANCELLED RESERVATION BY THE CHECK IN AGENT.
Christmas 2006, my husband and I were flying to Chicago from Oakland for the holidays. The check in agent cancelled our reservation because she said our flight is delayed and we wont make the connection. Then she found out she was wrong and couldn't ...

Pros: Great quality of ride, attendants friendliness Cons: a little concern of accidents as of lately
I have never been too picky on airlines when I go on trips, as long as I arrive there safely. Every airlines' service has been pretty good, and I have never been in an emergency landing or anything of that sort. However, Alaska Airlines sticks...

Pros: First Class Service for the price of coach! AND NO DELAYS! Cons: Not a very good mileage plan.
We just flew to Anchorage Alaska, from San Diego on Alaska Airlines. We were very pleased with the service. As avid flyers, we know service when we see it. The price was a little more for this airline, ($18), but well worth it.
The food was...

Pros: Free coffee in the waiting area, but even that is only in the mornings Cons: everything else
I have flown Alaska/Horizon a couple of times before, and every single experience turned out to be a nightmare! I'll point out two major "illustration" trips in my review.
1st - I flew Alaska about 2 years ago from Portland to Seattle for...

Pros: I can't think of anything good to say about Alaska's false advertising. Cons: Dishonest, illegal, misleading, manipulative false advertising.
Alaska Airlines has recently partnered with Air France and KLM, and is running a promotion via email to "celebrate" the new partnership. The promotion promises Alaska's frequent fliers credit for double miles for every flight on Air France or KLM ...
