Pros: Still searching Cons: Too many to list
It seems that a few years ago, when still working to be one of the largest airlines, American would go out of their way for their customers. Today it's "we're American, we don't need you as a customer, we have millions of others." I am truly...

Pros: It was free. Ginger Ale's always good. Cons: Too many things went wrong and the attendants were nearly outright rude or at least completely apathetic. Terrible airplane food.
I'm always a little wary when I read opinions on one-time services and now that I'm writing one, I have to stay a bit wary not to make this a rant.
I understand that sometimes, things don't work out and there's nothing anyone can do about...

Pros: Great Customer Service, Affordable Cons: Limited Destinations
I chose to fly Reno Air with my five month old from San Diego to Reno mainly because it was a direct flight. The price was also "right". I had no idea of what to expect beyond that...
When we arrived to check in I was a little...

Pros: Large size, lots of space, all the services Cons: Can be loud during rush periods
This is part of a continuing series of reviews on Admiral's Clubs.
The Admiral's Club at O'Hare is located at Terminal 3 in the crosswalk between gates H6 and K6. The first floor entryway has a security desk where you need to present your club...

Pros: none Cons: The airline, it's personnel, and its attitude to handicapped travelers!
Customer service is not synonymous with American Airlines!
A few years ago I was traveling with a deaf-blind traveling companion. I knew it was going to be rough getting her to the connecting terminal in Dallas/Fort Worth airport. However, I...

Pros: More leg room. Good destinations. Good Frequent Flier program. Cons: Customer Service not always the best.
I travel full time and have flown on many airlines. I always request American Airlines for the following reasons:
1. Usually departs on-time. If not, then the pilot will try to make up the lost time to have you arrive on-time.
2. More leg...

Pros: honest, reliable, friendly service Cons: slight delay, but that's okay!
To make a long story short, and a boring story interesting I will begin by saying that I had helped a coworker move from New York to Chicago by driving her car on its one way journey. I, myself, was coming back to New York. My coworker had graciously...

Pros: Good clean, newer looking aircraft Cons: The wait on the aircraft before take off.
I have flown many, many times on different airlines and I have always opted to go with American. They usually are my first choice, but the prices usually are not. I used to live in Texas and flew to Virginia once or twice a year. I started flying on TWA...

For almost all of my long haul journeys I travel in American Airlines Business class. I have also traveled in British Airways Business class, and American First class (read my review of my first class experience). In the last 5 years I have been on...

Pros: Flights were safe. I got where I wanted to be. Cons: Long delays without any concrete reason given as to why. Inconsistent meals.
I took my first American Airlines flight this week on a business trip to Las Vegas. It will probably be my last.
The flight to Vegas was rather uneventful. Other than flying in two planes I'd never heard of, a Fokker 1000 and a Boeing...

Pros: Business Center, Lots of Phones Cons: Smaller than most A Clubs, can get crowded
For those of us who travel by airline as a regular part of our jobs, we understand the value of an airline club lounge. I spend a great deal of time sitting in airports, waiting for delayed flights. Rather than "mingle with the masses" in...

Pros: Reliable, Extremely Friendly, AAdvantage, Many fringe benefits Cons: None
My fiancee and I will be getting married in the end of July. We immediately decided that we would like to visit Lake Tahoe for a week on honeymoon. After months (yes months) of researching and shopping around, I stumbled upon American Airlines's...

Pros: Clean aircraft, good prices w/ advance, excellent service. Cons: Some delays but mostly good timing!
American Airlines is definitely my favorite airline by far! I love the customer service that I receive when making reservations on the phone. The reps. are all fast, accurate and courteous...Something hard to get in customer service these days!

Pros: Decent In-Flight Service, Excellent Route Network, Diverse Code-Sharing Cons: Rude Ground Crew, Cleanliness Needs Improvement, Bad First Class
Being an American, I pride myself for living in this outstanding country. America is, of course, the "Greatest Country in the World" (non-Americans, don't take it to heart). However, when it comes to air travel, we're just another face in the...

Pros: excellent customer service, working on improving their planes Cons: some planes uncomfortable but they're working on it
I recently took an American Airlines flight from Orlando to San Juan, Puerto Rico and back again. This was the first time I flew in 12 years and it was only my second time flying ever, so I am far from an expert, but my experience with American Airlines...
