Pros: Comfortable seats, clean, TV, snacks, friendly staff, good amount of leg room
Cons: Always delayed or shows up late, prices are not particularly inexpensive anymore

Jet Blue has changed the airline experience. They have raised the bar with comfortable seating, individual televisions, friendly customer service, and (somewhat) reasonable prices. It is my favorite way to fly because of those factors and in fact I might even pay a little bit more for a ticket just to have my own TV on a long flight.

My only issue with Jet Blue is that the flights are rarely on time. There is always a new reason for a delay. While weather tends to be a frequent culprit I have also encountered non-existent crews, plane technical difficulties and many others. This is always very frustrating. Jet Blue is usually pretty nice about these incredible inconvenience and annoyances -- but I still would like to arrive on time when I plan a trip.

All in all, Jet Blue is a great airline. But they are having some growing pains and this trouble with the inability to leave/arrive on time is beyond frustrating.

Pros: Kid friendly, pleasant attendants, affordable pricing, and they've expanded their destinations.
Cons: The juice bar options are limited, passengers must clean up after themselves.

You don't need to be a part of JetBlue's True Rewards program to feel as if you've truly been rewarded by flying with them. Though they don't have flight into and out of every major city, they have expanded their destination sites and the service is excellent. You have you own television set, the seats are comfy, leg room is nice, and I love the fact that there are only seats in the row. The staff is always helpful especially with overhead compartments and friendly. Depending on the length of your flight there may only be a snack bar service in flight, but do you really need a big meal if you're flight is that short anyway?

JetBlue is by far the best airline. It has great service, great seats, and DirecTV. The staff is extremely competent and friendly. Excellent!!

I used to be the biggest advocate of jetblue, but I recently had two negative experiences that have completely changed my opinion. On a flight to Vegas from NYC, a flight attendant rolled his eyes at the passengers, and snapped at someone seated in front of us.

On the way back from Vegas, I asked a flight attendant if she could please help me with my bag, and she said "No, I'm not going to do that for you" in the rudest possible manner. I believe her name was Kaitlen. I fly frequently, and I have to say that she was the rudest flight attendant I have ever encountered.

I think the airline has deteriorated greatly in the past year, and I no longer recommend it. If it's cheaper than other flights, go for it. If not, don't bother. You can get the same service on American or Delta now.

JetBlue is a relatively new airline with relative new European AirBus planes. My experience is a half dozen trips from San Diego to JFK. They have all been very good experiences. Seats are comfortable leather with your own personal TV. There is no first class service. It is an efficient people mover with well trained and friendly people, unlike too many legacy airlines with unionized "We don't try harder because we don't have to" grumps.

It has been planed from the beginning for efficiency, if you feel comfortable buying off the computer. But this is not necessary. You plan your trip online; select/change your seats, get/change your itinerary, get luggage check tags, etc. At the airport you go to one of many of their kiosks, slide the credit-card you used to by your tickets, and comes your ticket. If you didn't check your baggage online, you can check on the kiosks and out comes your luggage tags. You then go to one of their luggage drop lines to leave off your luggage. If you have no luggage, your on your way directly to the gate. NICE!

Try it, you'll like it.

Jet Blue, quite simply, is light years ahead of the major mass airlines in the United States with the exception of Alaska, and to a lesser extent, Southwest (which has more of an old-fashioned bus quality to it). The internet site, leather seats, entertainment, snacks, and professionalism of the staff are the best in the industry. Also like the animal crackers. However, they should offer sandwiches or something for extra money. I do not work for Jet Blue but fly it whenever I can.

Cons: Limited route system, frequent flyer miles expire after 1 year.

JetBlue has everything I ask of an airline-- comfortable aircraft, convenient flights to where I want to go, great service, and low prices. Frequent flyer miles expire one year after you earn them, but so far the advantages outweigh this consideration.

Never booked through Jet Blue before. Today was first time. Booked Burbank, CA to JFK, return for myself and my husband. Very disappointed, as seat assignment did not appear until AFTER entering in all information, including credit card number. Only once flight confirmed, did it show me seats available, and there in fact were no seats together for this 5 3/4 hr flight. This appears to be a policy to sell more seats and fill planes. All other airlines I have booked through online so far allow you to pre-select seats before confirming order. Called customer service and spoke with live person who confirmed this is their policy. Only way around is to call first, and ask what seats available, then either pay $10 fee per person for booking over phone, or quickly log back in online and try to get seats before someone else does. On a flight coming up in the near future, this is cutting it way too close. Consecutive seats will sell. We live in a self-serve digital world. I expect more. Will not book through Jet Blue again.

I was stuck for SIX hours at the Las Vegas airport because of this Mickey Mouse operation. Don't fly jet blue,no matter how convenience you think its airports are in Long Beach or New York. This airline is irresponsible. On the day before July 4, it had contracted for one single mechanic and share that mechanic with at least one other airline. It has no shame.

Pros: Flight from Burbank to New York. Good for residents close to Long Beach.
Cons: Too few flights options in Southern California

I was really excited to try Jet Blue and booked a $350 ticket from Long Beach to Dulles. I did not think much at the time about with traffic how far and difficult it is to get to Long Beach.

I had to cancel my reservation and was not able to get my money back. I tried to rebook and really want to try their flight from Burbank to JFK, but I could never get it to work out.

I lost $350 since the fare expires after one year and there is not way to extend or recoup the fare. I have done the same thing on Southwest many times, but they have so many flights in Southern California it is easy to use the credit.

Pros: EVERYTHING! Snacks galore, flight attendants were awesome, price, your own TV...
Cons: Limited destinations, not much was on TV since we had a red eye flight.

We had a great trip to DC from Sacramento. I would fly this airline before I fly another. Great price, customer service, fight. Very accomodating! Arrived early and left on time!!

I was to have flown JetBlue from JFK to ORD on 04/06 by flight 919 scheduled to depart at 8pm. They initially delayed the flight to 10pm, citing 'poor weather conditions' in Chicago (whereas other airlines flew to schedule). The flight eventually got delayed till midnight. I called customer care and demanded a refund, but they were extremely rude and said they would not refund even a penny. I had to rebook my flight for another date (I didn't want to land in Chicago at an unearthly hour, and waiting in JFK for that long is a pain), paying a cancellation fee of $25.

The way JetBlue is going, they will only end up losing customers. They cancel or delay flights at the mere mention of the word 'bad weather'. Their flight attendants are intimidating and rude to the passengers. Their only redeeming factor is their low fares.

Pros: Courteous and knowledgeable staff, comfortable seating, planes arrived and departed early.
Cons: Baggage check in lines were long.

As a repetitive Jet Blue customer, I am comfortable saying that this is simply the best airline I have flown - consistently.

I've flown three times from JFK to various areas in Florida. On every occasion the planes took off before the scheduled flight times and arrived at the destination earlier than expected.

Boarding was organized well, seats were comfortable. I especially like the screens in the seat - just put on those earphones and start switching channels - it nicely drowns out any crying children.

Staff was courteous on all flights. I have also needed to contact customer service twice before flying and their customer service was terrific.

I especially like their kiosks for self-check in if you have no luggage to check. I had my boarding passes in three minutes - no lines!

I wish Jet Blue flew to more places - they are simply the best.

This airline lied repetitively to all of its customers including me, then after saying our plane was in the air and was going to depart from the airport I was at at 12:05 pm (originally 7:20 pm), they completely cancelled the flight.

Pros: Service, Direct TV
Cons: Only leaves out of JFK, Not the most most convenient airport.

I was very surprised and pleased at the level of service on Jet Blue. When was the last time the flight attendant said "Hello" (and meant it) How about the Ticket counter agent? Even the pilot was friendly and sincere.

The planes are comfortable and with the Direct TV at every seat, I will make sure to fly Jet Blue next time I need to fly on a Sunday and want to watch a football game.

Not much food on the flights to speak of, but the terminal at JFK has all sorts carry on food available.

Definitely will fly Jet Blue again.
