Out of this world service

Pros: Service, Direct TV
Cons: Only leaves out of JFK, Not the most most convenient airport.
I was very surprised and pleased at the level of service on Jet Blue. When was the last time the flight attendant said "Hello" (and meant it) How about the Ticket counter agent? Even the pilot was friendly and sincere.

The planes are comfortable and with the Direct TV at every seat, I will make sure to fly Jet Blue next time I need to fly on a Sunday and want to watch a football game.

Not much food on the flights to speak of, but the terminal at JFK has all sorts carry on food available.

Definitely will fly Jet Blue again.

Seems like it should cost more

Pros: No airline dinners.
Cons: Bring your own chow.
I keep thinking- "It's only a matter of time before JetBlue realizes they could charge more for their level of service." Every step of the way they took good care of me on four flights over the last two years.

From the gate handling, to in flight treatment, they really actually are better. Try a JetBlue flight and then go fly Southwest or United. You will feel like an animal.

Other perks-
Flight announcements are not obnoxious
Food is edible (snacks)
Dunkin Donuts coffee instead of Char-bucks.
Liberal beverages
Friendly staff
Efficient boarding. Nothing makes me madder than airlines that allow people to swarm the gate during boarding.
Better than average legroom
Planes don't smell like B.O. (hear that Southwest?)
Great prices, no deal scams or fine-print bait and switch tactics
Ontime

The TVs misbehave sometimes. They usually stabilize though.

Pros: Spacious, with friendly staff, has a monitor on every seat.
Cons: Not always the cheapest. Needs to serve more airports!
The day I discovered Jet Blue was bliss. Who would have thought flight attendants would have a bloody sense of humor? The seats were spacious and it's cool to have a tv where you can *choose* what to watch instead of putting up with that itty bitty thing that passes for a monitor on the plane's ceiling. They have free headsets too yay! I can't imagine paying 3 dollars for a bloody headset. Duh???? Too bad they don't have food on board, other than the blue chips (which are quite tasty but not filling), especially if you're flying in from California to New York. Otherwise I have no complaints...ummm wait, I wish they had more service areas dang it. I recommended Jet Blue to my friends at work and they loved it too!

JET BLUE Cancels hundreds of flights

Cons: Inability to make things right when things go wrong
Our NY to San Diego flight was cancelled today. Yes, I know that severe weather happens BUT the storm was Tuesday and the airline still has not recovered....It is Saturday for goodness sake. The schools here in NY were not even closed for one day but JET BLUE was crippled. Something is seriously wrong with the decision makers at JET BLUE.
Definitely not a warm and fuzzy experience.

Get it together.

JetBlue does't live up to it's ads

Cons: Flight attendants not so friendly, no meals, fewer amenities
I've flown JetBlue about six times and I guess after flying Song it just doesn't compare. Other discount carriers serve food for a charge and all JetBlue has is cheap snacks. There's nothing that satisfied me. As for the flight crew: I didn't find them as friendly as they're made out to be. Each flight seemed to be the same and no one ever seemed to smile or be extremely courteous. One attendant even skipped me when handing out drinks or snacks.

New planes are good yes, so is satellite TV. Although I've gotten used to games, movies, and more with Song. Song has all JetBlue has and a lot more, plus friendly people!

Worst experience ever!!!

Pros: I used to love this airline.
Cons: They have grown too quickly and cant handle it.
Three days after the snow has passed Jetblue still can't get flights out. We waited at JFK for 6 hrs waiting for one member of a seven person flight crew to show up. They never did. Flight cancelled, no help at all from JetBlue to re-book us. Gate manager screaming at passengers and over 1.5 hrs to get our luggage back. I will never fly Jetblue again.

Jet Blue - Cheap doesn't cut, if the service isn't there

Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: No flights to major cities, no food purchase in-flight, unhelpful customer services, excessive change charges.
On a recently booked flight from California to Washington DC, they cancelled my flight at the last minute. Yes, they tried to book me on another flight, on standby. I waited for the first standby flight, last flight of the day, but could not get on. There were only standby seats available the next day. Since I needed to be in Washington, I declined to fly standby on next day flights and booked a last minute flight on another airline.

I called Jet Blue customer service to get a refund on the return filght, a cost to them of $420, with tax & fees. My answer was they could not because if they they did they would have to refund every body else. They have lost two previously satisfied customers for chump change.

Ok, Jet Blue is popular and overbooked. Other airlines are hurting for business and cheap prices can be found.

JetBlue complicates kid's TrueBlue registration

Pros: Good for JetBlue, since discouraged passengers won't subscribe their kids to TrueBlue without email accounts.
Cons: Bad for parents creating extra email accounts to qualify kids for flight credit. Thumbs down.
We're booked on JetBlue for the first time, and trying to get TrueBlue (flight credit) accounts for the whole family, which is 2 adults and 2 small kids, not email ready. In order to register the kids, they each need to have their own email accounts, cannot use mine or my husband's email. Additionally, once those kids are subscribed, their TrueBlue account credits are only sent to the kid's email addresses, not the parent's. Which means having to slog to two different free (yahoo?) accounts to get that info within a sea of junk mail. This is ridiculous, amounting to asking customers with young children to jump through hoops to qualify for their flight credit, which they should get regardless of separate email accounts. I spoke with customer service and they spew boiler plate reasoning that doesn't really consider the customer's point of view at all.

Last time I book with JetBlue until they clean up this glitch.

Here's a complaint I recently send to JetBlue.

Flight 1280 from Richmond, VA to Boston, MA scheduled to leave Wednesday 18 June, 2008 at 7:00am was delayed over and over again until it was finally cancelled after 9 WASTED
HOURS.

I'm extremely angry with JetBlue, not because of the technical problem, but because of the $94 worth of "compensation" you all decided that my wasted day was worth. I understand that you can't prevent every technical problem. But you CAN truly compensate loyal jetters like me who
have flown with JetBlue for years!

They respectfully chose not to increase the compensation.

property taken from luggage

Pros: Great crew on board, good service and smooth flight.Good choices of snacks good quality.
Cons: Missing items from checked in luggage.
Before I have flown many airlines and until I had my luggage tampered with and a digital camera taken at the Salt Lake air port I would have given a big thumbs up to JetBlue. The flight was very nice the crew the best I have seen. Professional and kind to all passengers. However I reported my camera missing in Salt Lake was assured they would check it out. After 6 or 8 calls (all except 1 ignored)and emails I was told it is just to bad. I am disappointed with the way this was handled then being told it's just too bad they will not help me recover the loss. I am stunned with the lack of responsibility of JetBlue. It was taken while the luggage was checked in and in their care but they are not responsible!
I would have encouraged our employee frequent flyer's to check out JetBlue as well as many of my family that fly to do the same but that will not happen. Instead I will be relating to all this lack of interest or responsibility of JetBlue.

Salt Lake is the Red Eye!

Cons: Don't travel to enough cities.
I didn't fly a lot until last year, when I went to live in Utah for six months. I traveled back and forth from Salt Lake City to New York a few times, and every time it was with Jet Blue. The people were so friendly! And since I rarely flew before that, the snacks and drinks were enough for me (I'm used to bringing food on anyway). The Direct TV isn't bad, either. If I was feeling sad that I was leaving home again, I'd watch old cartoons. If I wanted to get my mind offsomething, I'd watch Court TV. Really I have no complaints. And, supposedly there's going to be a JetBlue location at the Westchester Airport, which is much closer to me. So I will be flying it even more often.

Bad Luck with JetBlue, usually a good pick

Pros: snacks(terra blues) in-flight direct tv, lovely staff
Cons: 5 hour delay, 2 hour runway wait, 1 hour to get luggage
no problems going to bahamas exceot for no non stop flight, going out of jfk to nassau, stop at logan than down to nassau. flight back to logan 5 hour delay. stuck on runway for 2 hours. circled jfk for an hour, landed. took a mini bus from gate to terminal area. took an hour to get luggage to luggage belt. love the tv and nice staff just bad luck. i still recommend jetblue

Greatest airline ever

Cons: Cons? no cons with this airline.
I've flown on this airline nearly 30 times since '01. I've NEVER ONCE had a problem, I fly from TPA to JFK regularly.. and nearly half the times, the young pilots got us there 1h 45min.. All this stuff about people not fitting in the seat is bull.. I'm 6'5 and 240lb and I fit fine and very comfortable. You guys should stop complaining about the directv, you should be thanking jetblue for giving it to you, and just because the Chips aren't blue you're gonna complain? get a life... For the bathroom comments.. simple answer.. use the restrooms in the airport before your flight.

Fact is, Jetblue is the greatest airline, a 4 year old company, give them time to expand.

Horrible! Read and beware

Cons: Poor service, poor attitude, trying to rip you off!
We booked tickets to Florida and got an email notice our flight is cancelled and must take a later flight. We have an infant and wished to get home earlier. This is why we booked the return flight in the early afternoon.We now have to change our car rental reservation and prolong hotel stay and we wanted to know what the airline do for us. After exploring the only option of must accepting a later flight, we asked for compensation and the airline said read the fine lines that we can charge you $100 dollars for changes but we can change whenever we like. Got hang up, had to call back twice, wait for half an hour at 8am to get the answer to our second question. We asked since we have extra leg room seats on return flight but sitting opposite in ail seats could they move one seat so we can sit next to each other.The answer it costs $25 dollars to move our seats bc its extra leg room seat but we already have them and why are we being charged.Answer b/c computer does it and absolutely make sense to the rep that we are charged!!
