Pros: Non-stop service, free snacks, friendly staff (most of the time), average cost Cons: cramped planes, charges for bags.
Midwest Express offers the only non-stop flight from Nashville to Milwaukee. Since my wife's family lives in Milwaukee, we often fly Midwest for the convenience. In most cases, the flight attendants and staff are very friendly and offer good ...

Pros: we got 4 cookies instead or 2 Cons: read the review.... worst flight ever! and i have flown a lot!
I bought a last minute flight to Boston due to a close friend passing away. I found a wonderful price through Priceline. When I departed from MSP my flight was an hour/half late. These things happen with flights so no harm done. ...

Pros: Attentive attendants who extend unmatched inflight service. Chocolate chip cookies! Cons: As typical with a regional airline, Midwest has a limited route map.
For many years, I've remained a loyal, card-carrying member of Skymiles, Delta Airline's frequent flyer program. And other than a round-tripper on AirTran, I've flown ONLY Delta to the tune of some fifty flights over the past five years, ...

Pros: I didn't get far enough to experience any of these Cons: Their unexplainable policies are horrible. Refuse to work with you.
Everything I read about Midwest on their website was all about their customer service and how great they are. Lies. I flew to Michigan for my wedding after getting laid off and decided that I would spend more time in Michigan rather than flying ...

Pros: Seats, Leg room, Friendliness, and Cookies Cons: Limited flight schedule and frequent Milwaukee layovers.
I recently flew Midwest Airlines for the first time April 8-11, 2008 from Kansas City to Minneapolis. My 6'5" husband and I were pleased with the amount of room and comfort of the seats. We also enjoyed the in-flight warm chocolate chip cookies. All of ...

Pros: Good prices Cons: Horrible seats, limited routes
Once upon a time, Midwest was my ideal carrier. Wide, comfortable seats, absolutely wonderful and truly "midwest" staff, and great prices. Those days are over. I heard that Northwest bought them out, which is a total loss. They've lost their personal ...

Pros: At least your Midwest Miles can now be used on Northwest routes. Cons: Everything that was special about the airline is gone.
Since Midwest airlines was bought out by Northwest last year they discontinued their, "Signature Service", which was the best thing they had going. It was all first class seating on select routes. I LOVED it. It's long gone now. They ripped out those ...

Pros: The in-flight portion of the funeral trip was good. Cons: The ground service was abominable.
They USED to be excellent. I've just returned from attending my father's funeral in NY; my daughter and I flew Midwest (a direct flight from Kansas City to LaGuardia). The baggage agent at MCI took our checked bags, but (as it turned out) mistagged my ...

Pros: Chocolate Chip Cookies
Price Cons: Delayed Flights
Horrible Luggage Service
Poor customer service (outside of the flight experience)
Never mind the hours of flight delay in Milwaukee, my luggage didn't show up in St. Louis when I finally did. In a five day trip, my luggage arrived after two days and many phone calls. It was promised that it would be delivered to my parents house, then ...

Pros: Yummy cookies. Wide seats. Cons: Limited routes mean extra layovers. Luggage was delayed.
I recently got to experience flying on Midwest Airlines, mostly courtesy of the U.S. government. What I mean is that my husband, Bill, took lots and lots of TDY (temporary duty yonder) trips on Midwest, racked up lots of frequent flyer points, and ...

Pros: Non what so ever, will never fly with Midwest airlines again Cons: Irresponsible company: claims to provide "Best Care. . ", but doesn't live up to it.
My wife and I recently traveled from Nashville to Milwaukee. The return flight from Milwaukee to Nashville was beyond a doubt the worst experience I have every endured with an airline. Midwest Connect is operated by Skyway airlines which is a wholly ...

Pros: Great food and service Cons: Doesn't travel to that many cities.
When I first boarded a Midwest Express plane, I knew that there was something special about this airline. They automatically asked me if they could hang my coat and store my luggage for me. I sat down in the big, roomy leather chairs and felt like I was ...

Pros: Seats, Cookies Cons: Milwaukee, cancellations, lack of planes, poor service
I have had lots of problems on Midwest, but 2 recent trips on Midwest have soured me for good - late June 06 KC to Minneapolis (through Milwaukee of course). KC to MKE fine, MKE to MSP leg cancelled when we got there. Unwilling to put us on the next ...

Pros: Roomy seats, comfortable flight, warm cookies. Cons: Very high ticket change fees, poor customer service, after a hospitalization/surgery required trip change
I moved out to Washington DC from San Diego to do a summer internship for graduate school. I purchased my return ticket, one-way, on Midwest Airlines online for $160. While in DC, I was hospitalized for 10 days with a bowel obstruction and had to have ...
