Pros: Large Seats Cons: Few Destinations
Midwest Express started life as the Kimberly-Clark corporate airline, and still has some of the qualities of a private airline. The DC-9s they fly have one aisle, but instead of cramming 6 seats across, there are only 4, so no one gets a middle seat. The...

Pros: Excellent service, food, and spaciousness Cons: Flight was delayed
My first experience with Midwest Express was the past weekend and I have to say that I am very impressed! Most especially with the food and the service.
My trip to Milwaukee, WI began on a Friday. I left from the Philadelphia International...

Pros: GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND INFLIGHT FOOD. Cons: LIMITED FLIGHT SCHEDULE
O.K. You have heard about Midwest Express being the number one carrier in America haven't you? They are continually voted number one in travel magazines but don't worry if you haven't flown them because they have a limited schedule. They are based out...

Pros: The Food and Safety Cons: Cleaner seats
Midwest Express Airline may sound a bit suspicious, but do not allow the Express part fool you. I recently flew on Midwest Express and trust me everyone gets treated like first class.
I am on a Dance Team and a dance camp was being held in...

Pros: roomy seats, great food Cons: you'll may pay more than other airlines
I live in the Milwaukee, WI area, one of the hubs for Midwest Airlines, so we have the opportunity to fly Midwest more than others in different areas. I'm glad this airline is usually available to us wherever we're on our way to, because flying Midwest...

Pros: wide seats, great food, friendly service Cons: not as many flights
Back in Summer of 1998 I heard some GREAT news - Midwest Express was offering a direct flight from where I live to where my parents live (the only airline in my area to do so). As a mother of a newborn, I was delighted to learn of this new direct...

Pros: Direct flights, great food, very few delays, two-across seating, courteous staff. Cons: I wish they'd expand throughout the Midwest, with more flights from O'Hare and a Milwaukee-to-Minneapolis flight.
So let me start out by saying that I am a travel snob. I am the type of person who refuses to stay in hotel rooms that are the least bit dirty. I get hives from most public restrooms. And I never, never, never eat at those Roy Rogers along the NY...

Pros: Customer Service, Meals, Extra Large Seats, On-Time Performance Cons: Limited Flight Schedules, Seasonal Travel Availability in some Markets, Limited Cities on Their Route System, Lack of Entertainment on their Longer Flights
I fly on Midwest Express whenever possible. Although their ticket prices are sometimes a bit higher than the competition, the little extra is more than made up by the generous size seats (all first-class size seats, two on each side of row, lots of leg...

Pros: Good Breakfast Meal, Nice Stewardesses, Comfortable Flying, Offers Travel Vouchers Cons: Miscommunications between airports, Late Return Flight, Not Much Selection on my Dinner Flight
Hello Everyone,
I recently took a trip to Massachusetts. I flew via Midwest Express. I had a direct flight, and on both flights I got a full course meal, including drinks. The stewardesses were friendly, and were there to help you. On my...

Pros: Service, service, service, service! Cons: Coach fares are slightly higher (but worth it)
Absolutely incredible! When was the last time you flew in the US and walked away from the flight saying to yourself or anyone else that would listen that you would go out of your way to fly that airline again? You may very well have that opportunity if...

Pros: First class service for coach fares Cons: Fares aren't the absolute cheapest on the market
As service aboard domestic carriers gets worse and worse, there is still a shining star amongst many air carriers in the US. I would classify Midwest Express as all-business class, and a remarkable alternative for the average air traveler. I've flown...

Pros: Food Service, seat comfort Cons: Limited cities serviced
Last summer I was making travel arrangements for a conference in Kansas City which I was participating in. My travel agent told me that the only airline to offer direct flights to K.C. from my home town was Midwest Express. I groaned, expecting a...

Pros: None Cons: Miles most difficult to accumulate if you book online
I have booked two trips to Las Vegas for my husband and myself in the past 2 years. The first time I booked the trip online, I was not yet a Frequent Flyer member. I signed up immediately after booking the vacation package thinking Midwest Express would...

Pros: Service, food, seating Cons: Limited flight routes
Call it serendipity. My travel agent quoted me an absurd figure to fly my wife and I home for the holidays, so I took my business online. I chanced upon Midwest Express, and five minutes later, I had my e-tickets. I was impressed. Two weeks later, I was...

I recently moved to California and have 3 children who live in Wisconsin. They have flown out here on vacations and I booked all their flights with Midwest Express. I have been very pleased with the ease and friendliness of the service. And their...
