Pros: Seats, Cookies Cons: Milwaukee, cancellations, lack of planes, poor service
I have had lots of problems on Midwest, but 2 recent trips on Midwest have soured me for good - late June 06 KC to Minneapolis (through Milwaukee of course). KC to MKE fine, MKE to MSP leg cancelled when we got there. Unwilling to put us on the next ...

Pros: Reliable, Comfortable, Great Food, Friendly Service Cons: Late every once in awhile, but what airline isn't?
I have been flying Midwest Express for two years now and I refuse to fly anything else! It is the only direct flight I can find to visit family in Raleigh, North Carolina plus the only air plane food I have ever look forward to being served! Not to...

Pros: fresh baked food, great service for the price of cheaper companies Cons: it's not in smaller airports
Midwest express is the best airline I've ever flown on. You get first class service, great tasting, fresh food, all on a coach flight! It is the same price as any other coach flight and you still get all the previously mentioned first class...

Pros: On time, great food, very roomy seating! Cons: None
I was so pleased with my latest flight I had to write! I have flown on a number of different airlines but have never had such a wonderful experience as with Midwest Express.
My husband and I decided to fly to Las Vegas in September of 99. So,...

Pros: Service, leg room, food, on-time Cons: don't fly internationally only regionally
This is one of the best airlines I have ever flown. If only they flew all over the country, then it would be perfect! Their customer support is awesome as is their on - time history, seats and food service. They even bake hot chocolate chip cookies on...

Pros: Everything Cons: Need more destinations available
Ever board an airplane, see the first class passengers sitting in their nice, cushioned, leather seat, and feel like a bit, well, poor? Midwest Express has been the answer for me. Not only did I get my $158 fare from Raleigh/Durham to Milwaukee over...

Pros: we got 4 cookies instead or 2 Cons: read the review.... worst flight ever! and i have flown a lot!
I bought a last minute flight to Boston due to a close friend passing away. I found a wonderful price through Priceline. When I departed from MSP my flight was an hour/half late. These things happen with flights so no harm done. ...

Pros: Big comfy seats, pleasant flight attendants, excellent food Cons: ticket price are bit steep and they don't go everywhere yet
At first I was a little timid when a friend said "Hey, why don't you give midwest express a try?" So, loathingly, I looked at ticket prices and destinations and decided to give it a whirl. Man, am I ever glad I took my friend's advice. The airline rose...

Pros: Greart service Cons: Costly fares
The next time you want to fly Midwest Express out of Milwaukee or some destination like that remember that great service comes with a price tag. Midwest flys to many destinations across the United States and has the best domestic service in the sky with...

Pros: The best in the business, setting the standard Cons: none
With cut backs to the bare minimum, our family has come to not expect much when we fly. How refreshing to find a company that still cares about quality and earns respect through service of it's customers. We have been impressed with every aspect of...

Pros: seating comfort, meals Cons: limited destinations
Midwest Express is truly, "The best care in the air!". Although I average merely 6-10 flights per year, I want a pleasant and comfortable experience. Midwest Express provides the quality I seek at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is pleasant...

Negative experience
by la_m517 ,Oct 23 '06
Pros: Seats and cookies Cons: Staff and customer service, not family friendly
Had a horrible experience with Midwest Airlines refusing to let us use an FAA approved child restraint on a recent flight. The attendant was rude and post flight their consumer affairs dept was not responsive to my concern. "Sorry that's our Policy". My 26 month old spent 2.5 hrs on a flight basically unrestrained (they said he should have been able to sit in the seat with the seatbelt for 2.5 hrs) because they have not processed the approval for this new restraint device. Not only was I upset on the flight, I am upset that their consumer affairs dept was not willing to apologise for our negative experience. I expected much more from Midwest Airlines. They may have nice seats and nice cookies but I won't be on their planes again.

Midwest one of the best airlines
by beshears ,Sep 15 '06
Pros: Good flight, and comfortable seats with plenty of leg room. Cons: They do not serve the chocolate cookes on all flights.
I went on the internet to "look" for a good price for a flight earlier this year. I had never "booked" a flight through a website, but I did, and the airline was Midwest. I had no clue about this airline, other than I knew we would have a "direct" flight, without having to "transfer."
We got on this airline (I had "heard" about the "chocolate chip cookies", but really didn't know really how good they were.)and "discovered" how nice and comfortable the seats and flight was. There was NO cookies on this flight, which was a "disappointment." I did ask, and they told me they only serve them on later flights in the day, which we "discovered" coming back home.
Coming back home, we could "smell" the cookie smell in the air, still not knowing how good they were. When they brought them to us, oh my, they were "large", "warm" and the chocolated "melted" right in your mouth. :)
We hope one day to take Midwest Airlines again. :)

round trip to Walt Disney World
by mrzink ,Oct 25 '06
Pros: price, aircraft, seats, cookies, service Cons: had to return digiplayer before movie was over but no biggie
flew Midwest signature service direct from Kansas City to Orlando and back. Boeing 717 was practically new, and very nice leather seats. I sat toward the front, and the engines are in back, so it was rather quiet as well. The 2 F/A's were professional and I got a total of FOUR delicious choc chip cookies on my trip outbound. Also bought (for $10) the BBQ beef dinner, which was good and consisted of brisket, chicken, mashed pot, corn, salad, dressing, a roll, and butter. On the way back the flight attendant gave me (for free) a Digiplayer and I watched a movie on it whilst returning to KC. Our flights left on time and landed on time as well. This may well be my new favorite airline!
