Pros: Nice-colored planes Cons: Everything else.
I flew on Northwest twice...and will never fly them again. I purchased a round trip ticket from Boston, MA to Washington, DC. The flight there was supposed to go to National. Nope! Rerouted to Dulles. Fine, I understand (my uncle was an ATC) that...

Pros: The plane didn't crash and the movie was decent. Cons: Mean/rude employees, nasty food, dirty planes.
Jesus Christ! How disgruntled can an employee be? I have never seen so many upset employees that seem like they don't even want to be working at Northwest. I've flown Northwest about 3 times. And the reason is, that I couldn't get a seat on another...

Pros: Great Web Site. Partner with Continental so miles and status transfer freely. Cons: Connections are out of the way for East Coasters.
I've heard enough people say Northworst without commenting to their face. I just want to say, as a person who has flown with them on over 200 flights, that there doing the best they can.
I'm a consultant for a big 5 firm. I've been traveling...

Pros: On time flights!!!! Relatively comfortable seats (better than many) Cons: Nothing given the short flights involved
When I learned that my husband had booked us on a Northwest (more commonly called Northworst) flight from Chicago to Biloxi I had grave misgivings. We own a travel agency and I suspected he was doing this simply to "test" the airline with no...

Pros: Lots of routes, decent frequent flyer program Cons: Poor reliability
It is quite a shame that Northwest has a hub in my region. Although convenient and a frequent source of direct flights, having Northwest as a hub obligates me to fly Northwest. And Northwest, in my experience, is anything but reliable. Although...

Pros: They fly to my hometown Cons: Everything else
Northwest was the first airline to bring jet service to my hometown. No longer did I have to fly in and out of town on the tiny, hamster-powered puddle jumpers that regional airlines are so fond of. The jets (DC9s) became immensely popular almost...

Pros: passengers are great people Cons: just not too prepared
Being a reservation agent, I have to say has its good and bad points. Personally I feel that 90% of the passengers are wonderful human beings but like everything in life, they come with flaws.
I would like to give you some tips here on how to...

Pros: Cheap Cons: Obviously cheap, lots of delays, poor food
I consider myself pretty well traveled, air-wise. My mother is a flight attendant for an airline to be named later. All my life I've flown on this undisclosed airline, so when I got the chance to fly on Northwest, I was more than happy to see how other...

Pros: Great Perks with Frequent Flyer Miles Cons: Old Fleet, Poor Service
I am a Northwest Gold Member and fly at least twice a month. Here are a few good and bad pointers.
THE GOOD.....
1. Connect-First if you are a frequent flyer member (any-level) and you take a connection. You can upgrade to...

Pros: Inexpensive Cons: Not great hub airports, Service not always great
I have flown on Northwest for two Trans-Atlantic flights, and I will fly again in a few weeks. I have never had any major problems with Northwest. The meals aren't great, but this isn't a premier airline, or first-class. The service could be better, and...

Pros: Friendly people, good service, relatively few delays Cons: Coach-Class Food sucks 99.9% of the time
I fly Northwest quite frequently (however, I was not a frequent flyer program member until an hour ago), as such you are bound to have your good flights and your horrible flights - the majority of my flights with Northwest have been mediocre or better....

Pros: Most often the least expensive airline Cons: Customer service in Detroit stinks
I have flown Northwest Airlines on many occasions and it seems every time I have to go through Detroit there are problems. The worst time was on a flight to Las Vegas. I do not have the exact flight date and flight numbers since it has been a while...

Pros: Good deal, nice service people Cons: Iffy food, cramped plane
This weekend I traveled for the first time with Northwest Airlines. I must say I was quite pleased with them.
My pleasant experience began with booking my tickets on the website. (http://www.flynwa.com). I found a terrific deal on tickets ($129...

Pros: Competitive prices, Great overseas destinations, satisfactory service. Cons: When bad weather hits, be prepared for a headache
I have been flying with Northwest Airlines since I was 5 Years old and I am now 31.
I usually fly overseas to Asia using NWA and I have found that the service on those flights are way above average.
The food has been vastly improved since...

Pros: Very courteous and accommodating Cons: Flights seem to be overbooked a lot.
We have flown many times with Northwest in the past few years and have very little complaints. With two small children, we often have a lot of extra needs. Northwest has always gone the extra mile in serving our family.
We enjoy being able...
