Pros: One of the cheapest airfares Cons: Rude Employees, Bad Service,
Last summer, I (along with my nine month old son) flew NorthWest to Amsterdam where we then transferred to KLM airlines to Amman, Jordan (the two airlines have some sort of partnership with each other on international flights). The NorthWest plane was...

Pros: Um good peanuts? Cons: Do not waste your money
After trying them, I will NEVER fly with them again, you would be better off flying with Southwest or Delta.
I was on a Pleasure trip from Nashville (BNA) to Detroit Metro (DTW), after leaving from Nashville in one of their Jets, I have to say...

Pros: ??? Cons: customer service!
I recently flew on Northwest airlines, and let me tell you, it was one of the worst travel experiences of my life. Well, for starters, my flight was delayed over an hour on the way out to Omaha, due to mechanical errors on the plane. Due to that, I was...

Pros: cheap Cons: on-time performance, meals, unprofessional employee, cabin layout, etc.
I've used several airlines for international flights and Northwest, without a doubt, ranks at the bottom of my list. Let me tell you about my trip from Detroit to Paris so you can see what I mean. To get off to a bad start, the flight was late in...

Pros: E-Ticket system smoothes out check-ins Cons: Poor/uneven customer service
My father-in-law died recently, and I had to take my family out to Anchorage, AL to attend his funeral. Because my kids were nine months and 3 years old at the time, I had to bring our Maclaren double stroller. Their policy was that we had to check the...

Pros: efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, courteous attendants. Cons: can't compare their overseas service as I have never flown outside of the United States on any airline.
My husband and I really enjoy flying with Northwest Airlines. We joined the WorldPerks frequent flyer program in December of 1998 and have enough frequent flyer miles to travel anywhere in the continental United States.
The staff at Northwest...

Pros: Not a one Cons: Rude, disorganized, strands passengers
Ah, Northwest Airlines...where do I begin? My husband and I flew separately this past Christmas to California (he had to work a few more days). My flight out was relatively uneventful. My husband first arrived at the airport at 5:30 to discover his...

Pros: Cheap fares Cons: Lack of concern for passengers
I have been flying with Northwest for more than 10 years and the service that they offer has declined drastically over the past few years. They have no consideration for their customers. My husband flies for the US Navy so I know that certain precautions...

Pros: Easy accrual, lots of bonus miles Cons: hard to "spend" the miles. Lots of restrictions on seat availability by "code".
NWA worldperks mileage program, like most others I'm sure, is a magnet to get the flyer hooked into a piggybank of mileage that is meant to build customer loyalty. But that loyalty comes with a price. Just try to actually USE your miles. I have never...

Pros: none. Cons: delays, poor service
In my life, I have had the pleasure of flying with Northwest Airlines two times. The first was on a business trip to another country. Due to the odd location I was traveling, we had fly on a turbo prop and we made a stop at an airport out in the middle...

Pros: flys into Detroit Cons: the only airline that flys into Detroit
My parents live in MI, I live in NYC, the only way to fly to visit (either way), is Detroit, and via NWA. I cringe everytime I get online to get tickets, and know the horror that I am going to ensue, once I get on a NWA flight. Besides the crappy food,...

Pros: None Cons: High price, poor service.
For the third time, I put my minor son on a Northwest flight and for the third time, he has sat on the ground, late takeoff, late arrival, missing his connecting flight, and had to sit in an airport for hours and hours. I spent 910 dollars for this? I...

Pros: I've gotten good service Cons: coach class seats are small, as on all airlines nowadays
I mostly fly in economy class and on discount tickets, which means I'll probably never love an airline. The seats and service back there simply aren't as good as up in first.
I've managed to get first class upgrades on Northwest a few times...

Pros: Great overall experience Cons: Long waits to depart at hub airport
Good Things:
-I have always been assigned the seat I requested ahead of time.
-On one of the longer flights across the country, I was served the best breakfast I have ever had on an airline.
-Even when a flight has left late, EVERY flight...

Pros: price, iteneraries, crew Cons: not a long enough connection in MSP
I have flown the other airlines and well...this one has been the best to me. When I was looking for a flight from Hawaii to Florida for a Christmas vacation, NW offered the best rate and the best connections. I have absolutely no complaints. They also...
