Background: My husband and I have been on 10 plus cruises mostly high end.  We are also very discerning travelers. We have traveled the world and stayed in 5 star hotels.  This was our first Crystal cruise to the Mexican Riviera for Thanksgiving holiday (We have been to these ports before, and wanted to experience Crystal's reputation).  Very disappointed--  could not get any restaurant reservations; had to argue with management for one reservation; could not get a hot cup of coffee delivered to our room (it took 2 hours to get it right). Entertainment is dull.  Only ballroom dancing, no options.  Room was dusty.  Stewardess handles cleaning of rooms and room service which explains the cold coffee.  Beds are extremely uncomfortable.  Excessive chipped paint and broken ceiling outside our veranda -ugh! Management does not go out of their way to please the customer, it's a struggle.  Could not believe this was Crystal.

I have traveled quite a bit and there has been nothing that compares to the luxury and elegance of this ship/ cruise line. The meals and entertainment were to die for, the staff was amazing and the ports were spectacular. I was taken on this cruise as a guest of a family member and I have never experienced anything like it. We shared a room and it was absolutely perfect for two people. The family member has since been on another cruise through Crystal Cruise Lines. Guests get everything they pay for, and then some.
